We are nearing the final week of the Indiana High School Basketball season. The sectional draw is on Sunday when teams will learn the beginning of their path to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. While the season is reaching the final stages there are still plenty of talented prospects looking for a home at the next level. Our state has players still available for college coaches at all levels. From Division I to Division III, NAIA, or Junior College there is talent still on the board. We will be highlighting the best unsigned seniors here in Indiana over the next few days beginning in the backcourt. Here are the best forwards still available in the state of Indiana.

[player_tooltip player_id='868242' first='Anthony' last='Ball'] (Decatur Central H.S.): This 6'6″ bruising forward dominated the Class 3A state championship game last season scoring 17 points and pulling down a near-record 20 rebounds as Beech Grove knocked off Mishawaka Marian. Now at Decatur Central for his senior season, Ball is averaging 13.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per game for the 11-8 Hawks. He is without a doubt one of the best rebounders still available in Indiana's Class of 2023. Division II/NAIA/Junior College programs should be checking in on this prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='935725' first='Jared' last='Bonds'] (Carmel H.S.): You can never go wrong recruiting kids that played at Carmel. They've gone through a competitive environment since they were young and compete in college-type practices and play against the best Indiana has to offer. Bonds is a product of that. The 6'5″ forward is super athletic and brings versatility to both ends of the floor. On the offensive end he is more of a slasher and driver who will attack closeouts to his right hand and play above the rim. Defensively, he will be switchable at the next level and can add some positional rim protection. Depending on what you need out of him, Division II, Division III, and NAIA coaches alike should be involved with Bonds here as the season winds down.

[player_tooltip player_id='1410467' first='Alex' last='Romack'] (Westfield H.S.): High academic and averaging a double-double for a very good Class 4A team, what more could you want if you are still in search of a forward in the Class of 2023? Romack is a 6'6″ gifted athlete with physical strength and the motor you are looking for around the basket. That is what allows him to average 16.8 points and 10.4 rebounds per game against some of the best competition in the state. Definitely some Division II programs that could use him, but a no-doubter for the high level DIII or NAIA programs. Holds an offer from Marian.

[player_tooltip player_id='1295323' first='Ian' last='Stephens'] (New Palestine H.S.): Stephens plays with one of the highest motors in the state, is a very good athlete, and finishes at a very high level around the basket. The 6'6″ left-hander drives at you from the perimeter or high post area, can score in a variety of ways with his back to the basket, and rebounds extremely well. He is averaging 16.0 points and 8.1 rebounds per game for 18-2 New Palestine. In-state NAIA programs that need a 4-man should be offering Stephens at this point.

[player_tooltip player_id='1273712' first='Reph' last='Stevenson'] (Hamilton Southeastern H.S.): At 6'7" with impressive length, Stevenson has the necessary size to play the 4 or the 5 at the next level. He has a nice offensive skill set that continues to develop. Stevenson can face-up out to 15 feet where he knocks down the jumper or drives it right. With his back to the basket he possesses quick feet and a soft touch over his left shoulder. Very good rebounder in his area and has some upside as a rim protector on the defensive end. He averages 13.1 points and 7.5 rebounds per game for the Royals. Has an offer from IU-South Bend along with a lot of Division III interest.
