SubscribeThe Youngblood League is starting to heat up and some players have been paying at a very high level. From 6th – 8th grade alike we have seen some elite level of play. it has been great to see some of the younger brothers of older established players that are currently in high school and some that have moved on as well.

You will get a little bit of inside and a lot of outside with Teiyon who could really be a game changer out in the perimeter. Keeping an eye on him as a shooter that can change the game as he can knock them down.

Nothing better than looking at someones roster and seeing a Mulford on the roster. They are fundamentally sound and they are usually elite at something at a young age. Xavier is one of the top scorers that knows how to get to spots and score. He can shoot and he can just find ways to score. Xavier is one of the best scorers in the state in his age group. Stay tuned this kid will come along nicely.

This kid has really impressed over the past couple of weeks. He has been a spark plug and a high motor guard that just does not stop. He plays really good defense that in return creates offense. Kirabo is also shooting the ball really well but he does have the IQ to not settle. His wingspan is a something that has really jumped out this week as he just cover defensive space when he open those arms up. On the offensive side he is able to finish tough lays with those long arms. The kid is stock riser out here in Utah.
With a little bit of length and strength Ashton has taken advantage of weaker dribblers with his pounce on you active hands. He is playing very well for CDE. Kid is quick dribbling up the floor with the ball in his hands. He keeps his vision up and he knows how to finish. Has a nice spin move he can go to when he attacks the rim on those power moves. If you leave this kid open he will make you pay. You can’t put him om the free-throw-line either because he is racking up the AND 1’s/.

This kid is smooth. FOOTWORK is on point. He has sharp smooth moves and he is using pace and shifty back and forth’s already. The elevation on his shot is next level already. He knows how to work both sides of the floor and he does not get stuck when defenders press up. You cannot leave this kid open but if you play too close he has the quickness to blow by you. One aspect of his game that is a bit old school, but the kid knows how to get to the free-throw-line where is money. Kid is probably shooting in the high 90’s.
