Quay Watson Quay Watson 6'0" | CG Hopewell | 2024 State NC (Hopewell)
Quay Watson Quay Watson 6'0" | CG Hopewell | 2024 State NC has steadily improved as he is progressing throughout his junior year. He is averaging 25 points, two steals, five assists, and three rebounds a game. He just recently received his first offer to Mount Olive and a visit set up at App State on February second. One of the better shooters from beyond the arc, he has a knack for finding the ball when he is on the ball or in the passing lanes. A player to keep an eye on as conference and playoffs are coming up.
Carson Daniel Carson Daniel 6'1" | PG Central Cabarrus | 2024 State NC (Central Cabarrus)
One-half of the Daniel twins standing at 6’0″ have shown he knows how to fill the stat sheet. Carson’s scoring has declined this season, however, he has continued to immerse himself into the defensive side of the ball. He is averaging four steals a game. He did this last year, however, he has shown his ability to become an elite distributor. He is averaging seven assists a game and ten points a game. A good feel for the game and has the chance to become one of the better two-way players in his conference as he continues to defend at a high clip and also distribute.
Gabriel Marier(Gaston Christian)
Gabriel has come onto the scene and is an active big man and has soft hands. Averaging a double-double on the season at 13 points and 11 rebounds. He is standing tall at 6’11” and has garnered a lot of attention from Coaches throughout the State this season. He is almost averaging three blocks a game and has shown he can make scorers adapt their shots due to his presence alone. A strong finisher at the rim with a good touch, he will garner attention in the second half of the season as well.
Tosh Alberga Tosh Alberga 6'6" | C Indepedence | 2024 State NC (Independence)
The Junior big man stands at 6’7″ and has shown his effectiveness on both sides of the floor. He has shown his ability to play above the rim, snagging six rebounds a game. He is averaging three blocks and a steal per game as well. A high motor player that gets better every time I see him and should be able to help the Patriots make some noise late into the season. Long wingspan that helps him achieve success on both sides of the floor. If he can show the ability to hit consistently on the perimeter, it can help his game elevate.
