Bingham beats Westlake

The Miners pick up their 1st win against a Utah team this year. That Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas really helped them get things going. A few of the teams they beat out there are better than most Utah teams. Bingham will need players like [player_tooltip player_id='1206952' first='KJ' last='Jenson'] to shoot the ball well. He is good off the ball and might be their best shooter. Great play by the youngster in [player_tooltip player_id='1278436' first='Luke' last='West'] as he put up 15 points in the win as well. Although they did not get a lot of production from [player_tooltip player_id='1116156' first='Brayden' last='Whitehead'] he was a big time force when he was in the game. Just for reference the RPI had Bingham in the bottom tier and Westlake in the Top 5 I believe.

Lehi beats Timpview

If you let Lehi hit 9 three-pointers in a game you're in trouble and that is exactly what happened as Lehi was able to get their guys looks and Timpview could not get it going. [player_tooltip player_id='1057037' first='Cooper' last='Lewis'] reminded us of how good of a player and shooter he is. [player_tooltip player_id='1168376' first='Grayson' last='Brousseau'] was just bigger and stronger as he was scoring from all over. He is going to be in interesting matchup for teams in region play.

The kid actually got some looks in this game and he came through as he put up 23 points and a must win game against Park City. Jaxson is a good shooter that is handling the ball well as he could be a valuable player at the next level as a shooting PG. He is going to have to hit double figures every game in region for Murray to have a shot against the rest of the pack.

Fremont needed a win and they got major help from senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1206792' first='Boston' last='Hadley']. He was in his bag and they really needed him. He went off for 5 three-pointers and had himself a night with 27 points as Fremont is now over .500. This was a big win because Farmington was playing very well as of late. Boston picked a great night to have a career day.

Big time performance from a player who could be a diamond out in the Box Elder rough. McKee went off as he helped take out Provo. This kid has some size and at 6;6 he can shoot the ball as well. He could be a 3 at the next level. Still has room to grown his game and his strength.

Alta and Olympus could b e a on a crash course which would be an epic battle. Alta scored 100 points and Olympus manhandles Brighton.
