Through 14 games played this season, the 5-11 senior point guard is currently leading all scorers in Class 6A averaging 27.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game heading into the new year. Knighten has also had six games this season when he scores more than 30 points in a game. He can score in all three phases whether it’s attacking the basket, shooting from mid-range or shooting from beyond the arc.
Through 14 games played this season, the 6-4 junior guard is averaging 24.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game for Port St. Lucie High School. He scored a season-high 38 points back on December 28, in a 79-75 loss to John I. Leonard High School. He is shooting 48 percent from the field and 86 percent from the free throw line heading into the new year.
The VMI signee is having a stellar senior season so far as we approach the midway point. The 6-6 senior guard is averaging 22.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Cotton scored a season-high 41 points on 16-of-21 shooting and 3-of-5 from beyond the arc back on December 13, in a 91-59 win over Coral Reef. Cotton and the rest of the Southridge Spartans are currently sitting with a 13-3 record and ranked 6th in Class 6A, according to MaxPreps.
The 6-0 junior combo guard is having a breakout season so far for Leto High School heading into the New Year. In 3 games at the Tampa Bay Christmas Invitational, Delgardo averaged 18.3 points per game leading the Falcons to a 3-0 record in the tournament. In 16 games played this season, Delgardo is averaging 21.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 3.3 steals per game. Leto returns to action on January 10 where they’ll host Wharton High School in a marquee district matchup.
In 10 games played this season, the 6-4 junior combo guard is averaging a double-double at 21.1 points and 10.2 rebounds per game for Oviedo High School. Blount has recorded two double-doubles this season, including his most recent 32 point and 15 rebound performance back on December 16, in a 70-52 win over Tohopekaliga. Oviedo returns to action on Wednesday night where they’ll travel to Lake Brantley in a non-district contest.
