Santa Fe Catholic (9-6) ranked No. 36 in Class 3A, in the latest MaxPreps rankings outlasted The Master’s Academy (12-2) ranked No. 9 in Class 3A 62-52 in Lakeland on Friday night. Prep Hoops Florida scout Ross Van De Griek was in attendance for the game. Here are the top five standouts from Friday night’s game:
Ezequiel Munoz
Ezequiel Munoz
The 6-2 senior guard was driving and attacking the basket at will, leading all scorers with 18 points in tonight’s 62-52 win over The Master’s Academy. Munoz also went 7-of-9 from the free throw line, including 6 of his made free throws down the stretch in the 4th quarter. Munoz also contributed for 4 rebounds and had two steals in the win.
The 6-3 senior guard was tearing it up in the 4th quarter for Santa Fe Catholic, finishing with 17 points and 5 rebounds in tonight’s 62-52 win over The Master’s Academy. Jones scored 9 of his 17 points in the final eight minutes to help secure the win.
The 6-0 sophomore guard was letting the ball fly from beyond the arc, going 3-of-5 from 3-point distance finishing with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals in tonight’s 62-52 win over The Master’s Academy. Earlier this season Darner received his first D-1 offer from Youngstown State. He has now scored in double figures in each of the last 3 games for Santa Fe Catholic.

The 6-0 sophomore guard went 7-for-9 from the free throw line, as he was attacking the basket and going through contact on numerous occasions throughout the game. Pitts finished with a team-high 13 points in tonight’s 62-52 loss to Santa Fe Catholic.

Devaughn Stallworth
The 6-5 junior point guard finished just shy of a double-double finishing with 12 points and 8 rebounds in tonight’s 62-52 loss to Santa Fe Catholic. Stallworth showed his strength when he is attacking the basket and has a ton of upside as just a junior.
