Dierre Hill (Vashon): The 2025 combo guard displayed toughness and his clutch shooting gene in helping the Wolverines to a 58-57 victory over Staley in an overtime thriller in the feature game. He scored 17 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer with one second left in the extra session. It was his second 3-pointer of the overtime period. He mixed in his excellent shooting with some tough, physical defense that is always present when he takes the floor.

Zyree Collins Zyree Collins 6'0" | PG St. Mary's | 2025 State #338 Nation MO (St Mary’s): The 6’0″ 2025 guard had a dynamic performance against Charleston with a game-high 35 points. He was physically strong enough to handle the pressure and take the contact whenever he attacked the basket. He created his own shot with some dazzling moves off the dribble and he was also knocking down mid-range jumpers and getting transition buckets.

Jay Reynolds Jay Reynolds 6'3" | SG Cape Girardeau Central | 2024 State MO (Cape Girardeau Central): The 6’4″ 2024 guard scored 17 points in the Tigers’ loss to nationally ranked Chicago Simeon. He did a nice job of scoring on tough, slashing moves to the basket in the first half. In the fourth quarter, he cut loose with some excellent 3-point shooters as he led the Tigers’ attempt at a late rally. He has excellent size on the wing to go along with his offensive talents.

Iziah Purvey Iziah Purvey 6'5" | PF Webster Groves | 2024 State MO (Webster Groves): The 6’4″ 2024 forward had a strong performance in the Statesmen’s overtime loss to Miller Career Academy. He finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds while playing virtually every position on the floor. He was a force in the low post with his scoring and rebounding. He also made some excellent passes out of the post when he faced a double-team. He also spent much of the second half bringing the ball up and facilitating offense. He handles were nice and he could also create from the perimeter.

Ko’Terrion Owens Ko’Terrion Owens 6'2" | PF Charleston | 2024 State MO )Charleston): The 6’2″ 2024 forward was the Player of the Game after scoring 25 points in the Bluejays victory over St. Mary’s. The young undersized post is a force inside with his strength, good footwork and high motor, which enables him to produce at a high level. He has a nice touch inside and he can score at multiple angles. He is also handling the ball much more in the open court.

PJ Farmer (Charleston): The 6’1″ 2025 guard scored 13 points in the Bluejays’ impressive victory over St. Mary’s. He is such a versatile offensive threat that when one part of his game isn’t working, he is able to adjust and impact the game with other parts of his offensive arsenal. His perimeter shooting wasn’t going like usual, so he started attacking the lane for buckets and trips to the free throw line.

Marquell Murray (Cape Girardeau Central): The 6’3″ 2026 combo guard is a dynamic young prospect who made a few head-turning plays on Saturday against Simeon. He was able to attack the basket and score on some swooping layups in traffic amongst the tall timber of Simeon’s front line. He finished with 10 points on the game. He is a confident player who is very fearless. His upside is very substantial.

Nicholas Randall Nicholas Randall 6'8" | PF Vashon | 2025 State #96 Nation MO (Vashon): The 6’9″ 2025 forward had one of the more entertaining moments in the showdown in Staley when he threw down a big alley-oop dunk, which he converted for a three-point play. He was able to use his height and length inside to help seal the middle with his shot blocking and shot altering.

Ezra Maupin (Webster Groves): The 6’3″ 2024 guard had a breakout performance in the Statesmen’s overtime loss to Miller Career Academy. He scored 13 points and displayed a smooth shooting stroke from 3-point range. He sank three 3-pointers, with a couple of them coming in the fourth quarter to help spark the Statesmen’s rally from a double-digit deficit. He has good athleticism and bounce to go with his perimeter shooting.

Carl Whitehead Jr Carl Whitehead Jr 6'1" | SG Webster Groves | 2025 State MO . (Webster Groves): The 6’0″ 2025 guard scored 13 points in the Statesmen’s overtime loss to Miller Career Academy. He provided one of the game’s most dramatic moments when he calmly drained a 3-pointer at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime. He caught the ball and made a nice shot fake to free himself up for the game-tying shot. He also did a nice job of attacking the basket and getting to the free throw line.
