His versatility is so important to the team's success. He's a facilitator and a threat to score in the perimeter. He also rebounds and he makes winning plays with his leadership.</p>

He put on quite a display of perimeter shooting in the first half when he scored 20 points and knocked down five 3-pointers. He also has a nice quick burst to get into the lane and his passing skills are impeccable.</p>

He scored a team high 20 points. He was very assertive from the beginning as he scored inside while also displaying his smooth turn and face game. He was knocking down 15 to 17 foot jumpers.</p>

<p>Jalen Griffith (Chicago Simeon): The 5'10 point guard was the smallest player on the floor, but was the most dominant in the win over Cape Girardeau Central. He was too quick for defenders to keep out of the lane and then he started raining down 3-pointers late in the first half to break the game open.</p>

<p>Sam Lewis (Chicago Simeon): The talented 6'6 small forward is a dynamic player with athleticism and a high motor. He got his team going early with some slashing drives into the lane for buckets. He is a good tone setter with his tremendous energy.</p>

His motor was running non stop as he scored on slashing drives, offensive rebounds and strong cuts to the basket. He's a physical player who plays bigger than his size.</p>
