RPI————————————–PHU RANKINGS
#26 Granger —————————- #26 Granger
Schedule strength is bad and only win comes against a team that is 0-9 and might not win a game this year.
#25 Taylorsville ————————- #25 Taylorsville
Although they have no wins they have played a tougher strength of schedule and have two losses under 10 points.
#24 West ——————————- #24 West
Only two wins come from out of state teams but in Utah they have played some good teams.
#23 Weber —————————– #23 Hunter
Hunter has two out of state wins and has not faired well against anyone in state. Weber is much better than their record indicates.
#22 Hunter —————————– #22 Kearns
Kearns has a few good wins and some bad losses so it somewhat evens out. They should boost their RPI a bit in Region play.
#21 Bingham ————————— #21 Weber
Weber is much better than their record indicates but they are struggling with a few wins against some bad teams.
#20 Mountain Ridge ——————– #20 Roy
Roy has yet to record a signature win although they have a few good players strength of schedule is bad.
#19 Clearfield ————————– #19 Clearfield
This one is right on as they have a average schedule and a few wins against inferior teams.
#18 Copper Hills ———————— #18 West Jordan
West Jordan has been a bit down this year. Best win is over a team in 3A.
#17 Kearns —————————— #17 Bingham
Bingham has had one of the toughest schedules the past few years, this year they have not beaten those top tier teams. They should recover a bit during Region play, although no game will be easy.
#16 Roy ——————————— #16 Mountain Ridge
Mountain Ridge is struggling this year and is currently on a 3 game slide but should recover in their next game.
#16 Roy ——————————— #16 Bingham
Bingham has had one of the toughest schedules the past few years, this year they have not beaten those top tier teams. They should recover a bit during Region play, although no game will be easy.
#15 West Jordan ———————— #15 Herriman
Herriman is really good on paper once they figure it out they could be dangerous
#14 Layton —————————— #14 Skyridge
Skyridge has a lot of new players and they are battling, brighter days ahead for this program.
#13 Herriman —————————- #13 Copper Hills
They have a mixture of good older and younger players. A few solid wins puts them in the middle of the pack.
#12 Fremont —————————– #12 Layton
This team has been up and down but they have a good schedule and some good wins.
#11 Davis ——————————– # 11 Fremont
Good schedule with a few good wins.
#10 Skyridge —————————- #10 Davis
Davis has some talent and paired with some size and shooting they are dangerous. Zach Fisher and Colby Whicker Colby Whicker 6'2" | CG Davis | 2023 State UT have been great this year.
Best Wins: Simi Valley, CA
#9 Pleasant Grove ———————– #9 Riverton
Riverton has some players that play hard and when they are hitting from deep they are for real. Jaxon Kereks has been great like what we are getting from Zach Edwards Zach Edwards 6'4" | PF Riverton | 2024 State UT .
Best Wins: Fremont
#8 Farmington ————————— #8 Westlake
Westlake is good but hasn’t played anyone until they get to region.
Best Wins: Juan Diego, Springville
#7 Corner Canyon ———————– #7 Lone Peak
This team has some size mixed with shooters. Two losses against Cyprus but this team is a Top 10 team right now. Jaxson Best and Luke Fotheringham Luke Fotheringham 6'3" | SF Lone Peak | 2023 State UT have been great and they are starting to get more out of Chamberlain Burgess Chamberlain Burgess 6'9" | PF Lone Peak | 2025 State #214 Nation UT .
Best Wins: Village Christian,CA, Farmington
#6 Cyprus ——————————- #6 Farmington
One of the biggest surprise teams that has some tough guards and they have a few good wins. Pueal Beattie and Cole Johnson Cole Johnson 6'3" | CG Orem | 2023 State UT have been playing well.
Best Wins: Bingham, Dixie, Copper Hills
#5 Riverton —————————— #5 Syracuse
No disrespect to the Cuse but they have a soft schedule but they have talent. Kaden Ericksen Kaden Ericksen 6'2" | CG Syracuse | 2023 State UT has been really good this year.
Best Wins: Lone Peak
#4 Lone Peak —————————- #4 Pleasant Grove
Had an amazing showing in Florida and they are still learning and have yet to peak as well. Isaac Garret has been great and so has Bron Roberts Bron Roberts 6'11" | SF Pleasant Grove | 2023 State UT .
Best Wins: Davis, Timpview, Strongsville, OH
#3 American Fork ———————— #3 Cyprus
Cyprus just won their division in one of the best tournaments in the country. They have yet to peak. Quentin Meza Quentin Meza 6'0" | PG Cyprus | 2023 State UT has been great but getting great production from Spies Tia Spies Tia 6'3" | PF Cyprus | 2023 State UT .
Best Wins: Lone Peak, Pleasant Grove, Valencia, CA
#2 Westlake —————————– #2 Corner Canyon
Corner Canyon has also played a tough schedule and ran everyone in Arizona and is at #2 right now, that’s not a debate. Max Toombs Max Toombs 6'3" | CG Corner Canyon | 2023 State UT and Brody Kozlowski Brody Kozlowski 6'8" | SF Corner Canyon | 2024 State #103 Nation UT have been playing at a high level.
Best Wins: Bishop Walsh, MD, Cyprus, Brophy Prep, AZ
#1 Syracuse —————————– #1 American Fork
AF is the best team in 6A and has proven it by playing some of the best teams in the country and getting wins. It’s not a debate right now. Tiger Cuff Tiger Cuff 6'4" | CG American Fork | 2024 State UT and Ashton Wallace Ashton Wallace 6'4" | CG American Fork | 2023 State UT have been very good in the backcourt. Blake Rawson Blake Rawson 6'8" | PF American Fork | 2024 State UT and Aaron Dunne Aaron Dunne 6'9" | C American Fork | 2023 State UT have been playing at a high level.
Best Wins: Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, CA, Sunrise Christian, liberty, NV, Olympus, Santa Margarita, CA.
