PG: Quentin Meza Quentin Meza 6'0" | PG Cyprus | 2023 State UT || Cyprus High School || 2023 ||
Quentin has really transformed his game this yer increasing his numbers in different sections of his game. He is not scoring as much on an average but he knows when he needs to take over. His ability to draw defenders to help or simply have his defender be so alert and aware is better for everyone on the floor with him because he can get people on his team good looks. Quentin is still averaging 25 PPG and if he can continue that pace in 10 games he will reach the 2,000 point club and he has already reached the 500 assist mark. That is an incredible feat and he will go down as one of the best statistical players in Utah State History.
SG: Dutch Dowdell Dutch Dowdell 6'6" | SG Olympus | 2024 State #310 Nation UT || Olympus High School || 2024 ||
You might think that there are better shooters out there and that is okay, Dutch is an elite shooter that is on everyone’s radar. Not only doe she shoot well he has some positional size at around 6’5 or so. Dutch gets face guarded almost every game. He sees smaller scrappier defenders and he sometimes sees taller lankier defenders as well. One thing is for sure opposing teams throw everything at him and he still gets buckets. Dutch is a must defend threat out there. He’s going to hit 200 three-pointers made in a career. In his next game he will hit the 1,000 point club. This kid s legit and his game on both ends is getting a better overall addition.
W: Brody Kozlowski Brody Kozlowski 6'8" | SF Corner Canyon | 2024 State #103 Nation UT || Corner Canyon High School || 2024 ||
One of the ultimate multi-use or hybrid players in the country really. Brody just received a great offer from BYU among other schools in his portfolio but the kid is a lights out shooter and he is always leading the state or in the Top 5 in rebounds every year. He can hurt you in the corners nailing threes and he can rebound the ball and go. He can play a 3 or a 4 at the HM college level.
F: Jaxon Johnson Jaxon Johnson 6'8" | SF Alta | 2024 State #106 Nation UT || Alta High School || 2024 ||
One of the highest rising players in the country. From unknown to “Who is that” type of talent. Stanford is on the ball as they offered early and Jaxon has been playing well. He shares the ball, stretches the floor and rebounds on both ends of the floor. The 6’9 F is a true stretch 4 that might eventually be able to play the 3 as he gets faster and stronger. He still has upside and that is crazy to really think about.
F: Isaac Garrett Isaac Garrett 6'8" | SF Pleasant Grove | 2023 State UT || Pleasant Grove High School || 2023 ||
One of those low risk and high reward talents in the state that often times does not get credit for his skills. Isaac has athleticism and he also has a great wingspan. He can move well out in the perimeter but his ability to roam all over the floor, rebound and finish is really important.
