Rabun Gap (20-5) vs. Christ School (24-3)
The last time these two teams met, we saw Rabun Gap steal a win on the road, but now the Greenies are travelling to Rabun Gap to get their revenge. Rabun Gap is a solid squad that always seems to be consistent and tough, and they’re led by senior guard Theo Antinori, who’s a great shooter and slasher. Andria Siamashvili is a consistent complementary threat, and they’re well coached and play hard. Christ School, who we covered in last week’s article, is led by Bryson Cokley Bryson Cokley 6'5" | SG Christ School | 2024 State NC and Keenan Wilkins Keenan Wilkins 5'11" | PG Christ School | 2024 State NC in the backcourt and Emanuel Richards Emanuel Richards 6'5" | CG Christ School | 2023 State NC and Anthony Robinson Anthony Robinson 6'9" | PF Christ School | 2023 State NC in the frontcourt. These two will have a fun game on Tuesday, and we’ll see who comes out on top.
Trinity Academy (16-5) @ Ravenscroft (20-5)
A Raleigh non-conference battle is going down Thursday as Trinity Academy, led by Kevon Vanderhorst Kevon Vanderhorst 6'1" | PG Trinity Academy (Raleigh) | 2023 State NC and Clash Peters Clash Peters 6'8" | PF Word of God | 2024 State NC takes on Ravenscroft. Joining them is Trevor Barrett Trevor Barrett 6'2" | PG Trinity Academy | 2024 State NC , the heady lead guard who loves to score the ball with consistency from all over the floor. For Ravenscroft, Harrison Poole Harrison Poole 6'5" | SG Ravenscroft | 2023 State NC is a sniper from deep and he always seems to make the correct play when asked to. Alex Olander Alex Olander 6'4" | SF Millbrook | 2024 State NC is athletic, thin, and impressive on both ends, and Dakota Gordon Dakota Gordon 6'1" | CG Ravenscroft | 2023 State NC can flat out shoot it for a 6’1 guard. This should be a good matchup between two of the top teams in their classes.
Charlotte Country Day (17-10) @ Charlotte Latin (12-8)
This will be a heated rivalry game, and one that both teams could really use. For CCDS, they’re led by all-around scoring guard Dallas Gardner Dallas Gardner 6'3" | CG Charlotte Country Day | 2023 State NC , who is so solid all across the board offensively. Fletcher Bigham is a stretch forward who may not be the most physical, but can play all over the floor offensively and defensively. Amare Bethel Amare Bethel 6'3" | PG Charlotte Country Day School | 2024 State NC is an athletic guard who gets on the glass for putbacks and to ignite his team in transition. For the Hawks, it all runs through Ned Hull Ned Hull 6'2" | PG Charlotte Latin | 2023 State NC and Sean Rose Sean Rose 6'6" | PF Charlotte Latin | 2023 State NC . Hull is a two way guard who can really knock down shots and lead his team when adversity strikes. Rose is a springy wing who is a lob threat and worrisome when he gets downhill. They have also been buoyed by the contributions of Nicholas Levy, a 2024 guard/wing who can knock down shots and make plays on the defensive end. This should be an exciting one this week that gets a packed house.
