MLK Showcase – North HS vs Andrew Jackson Academy

The North HS Eagles led by Head Coach Keith Parks were down 66-58 with 4:21 left in the 4th quarter. Johnson finished with 23 points and 15 rebounds according to my unofficial stats. Nicknamed DL has a thick frame and plays bigger than his size on the floor. He has great body control going to the cup when he's not showcasing a short mid-range pull-up. Stack was fearless all game long with his play. He came up with big shot after big shot today including some clutch three pointers down the road for the Eagles. Jalen is a 3-level scorer for the Eagles and really shows to have a great mid-range game and pull-up. Stobert a left-handed forward showed to have a nice jump-hook in the paint when he was given the opportunity to shoot the ball. Brantley came into the contest averaging 25.2 ppg this season. Brantley a slender-sleek guard found his groove in the second half for the Warriors. Robert plays football in the fall for the SCISA Class 1A school located in Ehrhardt. He was able to use his body and absorb contact to the rack while showing good body control. He had no problems jumping on the deck for a loose ball. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Eagles really like to play just about 6-7 kids.
