Riviera Prep from Miami, Florida has been one of the best teams in the state all season long, currently ranking ninth according to MaxPreps. The Bulldogs begin its run on Thursday against Durango at 3 p.m.
The workhorse behind the Riviera offense, Allen currently ranks as one of the best scorers in the state posting over 23 points per game. The sophomore guard is a score-first floor general, with a deep bag to shoot off the dribble or get to the basket with his strong 6-4 frame. Holding offers from Michigan and Villanova, Allen’s strongest trait could be his ability to push the tempo on the fast break and put somebody on a poster.
One of the most well-rounded shooters entering this weekend, Josefsberg has been a marksman for the Bulldogs all season long. The senior guard moves extremely well without the basketball and never hesitates when the ball finds him on the perimeter. Outside of excelling beyond the arc, Josefsberg is a viable defender and can create off the dribble for himself and teammates.

The Fuentes brothers are going to be a problem in South Florida over the next 3 – 4 years, as the younger of the two has proved that as a current eighth grader. Starting with the Bulldogs starting point guard, Fuentes can do it all with the ball in his hands, slicing through defenders with an elusive handle to finish around the basket, or pulling it from well beyond the three-point line. Defensively, the freshman has a high basketball IQ on the perimeter, intercepting passes with impeccable timing and slamming it home on the other end.
The elder of the Fuentes brother, Mason may play a different style than his younger bro, but is equally a problem on the hardwood. A high caliber playmaker, the freshman makes the game so much easier for those around him, Fuentes excels in driving to the basket and finding his teammate for an easy shot. When Fuentes is looking to create his own offense, the 6-2 guard’s creativity and aggressiveness around the rim makes him hard to stop.
