If you haven’t already, make sure you take a look at the revamped rankings that feature a Top 150 plus over 100 additional names on our Watch List. In this article we will be highlighting six prospects who made their debuts in our updated rankings. These “new names” have continued working hard at their games and made the necessary improvements to catch our eye and shoot up into the Class of 2024 Top 150. This will is Part Two of a two part series highlighting our new names. If you haven’t seen Part One yet you can CLICK HERE to look back at those six names.
Ryan Clevenger (Carmel H.S.): Anytime you can play in the rotation for Carmel you have a real chance to be a college basketball player. Clevenger has already put a good amount of varsity experience under his belt for the Greyhounds. He is a good catch-and-shoot threat from beyond the arc, handles the ball very well, and showcases a high basketball IQ on both ends of the floor. He will have a chance to keep moving up as his role expands, but currently makes his debut at #133 in the Class of 2024 Prospect Rankings.
Charles Farrell Charles Farrell 6'2" | PG Westfield | 2024 State IN (Westfield H.S.): This 6’2″ long, athletic guard has emerged as a starter and consistent playmaker for a Westfield team that has spent much of their season ranked in the Class 4A Top 10. Farrell averaged 6.3 points per game, third on the team, and brings good defensive instincts to the table as well. His emergence for the Shamrocks got him on our radar and he now finds himself ranked #132 in the junior class.
Parker Hehman Parker Hehman 6'0" | PG Brownstown Central | 2024 IN (Brownstown Central H.S.): When looking for someone to run your backcourt with all of the intangibles and leadership qualities you could ask for, look no further than this southern Indiana prospect. Hehman is an excellent defender, will handle and distribute the ball within your offense, and is one of the most vocal players I’ve seen this season. Really impressive kid to watch. Now ranked #126 in the Class of 2024 and will likely do nothing besides shoot up from there.
Devon Lewis Devon Lewis 5'10" | PG Canterbury | 2024 State IN (Fort Wayne Canterbury): Lewis has really broke out this season as one of the more talented junior point guards in the Fort Wayne area. This 5’10” playmaker is averaging 17.4 points per game as a scorer who can get to the basket consistently off of the dribble and has been a solid shooter throughout his career. He has made his debut in this rankings update at #134 overall in the Class of 2024.
Isaac Schultz Isaac Schultz 6'7" | C Adams Central | 2024 State IN (Adams Central H.S.): At 6’6″ with good length and mobility this prospect is starting to turn some heads up in the greater Fort Wayne area. Schultz is a walking double-double threat that rebounds outside of his area, finishes very well around the basket, and is great on the rim-run in transition. The Adams Central High School junior jumped into our Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Rankings at #111 in the class.
Jacob Taylor Jacob Taylor 6'5" | PF Logansport | 2024 IN (Logansport H.S.): With good size on the perimeter and a smooth outside stroke, Taylor has emerged as one of the better up-and-coming prospects in northern Indiana. The 6’5″ junior averages 17.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game while shooting a solid percentage on a high volume of three-point shooting. Taylor makes his debut in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2024 Rankings at #110 in the class.
