Vazquez did his best to fill up the stat sheet and do his best to lift his Wayne Country Day School squad. He finished with 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists to show off his ability to make an impact with the ball in his hands. He’s a 6-foot-5 presence that continues to show he belongs on the floor.
Cooper did his best to lead the backcourt and get his playmakers in position to make things happen for Wayne Country Day School. He didn’t fill up the stat sheet scoring, finishing with just 7 points but he made things happen on boards (8 rebs) and in the playmaking department (5 assists). He’s an unsigned senior guard that DI and DII schools will want to get eyes on in 2022-23.
Moye is an intriguing guard prospect that played too his strengths down the stretch in South Mecklenburg’s victory over Ashley High. He poured in 11 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter as he took over down the stretch and put himself in positions to score with ease when his team needed him most.
Locklear is a junior floor general to keep an eye on that can stroke it from deep and make plays happen in the backcourt for others with Ashley High. He finished with nine points on three made 3-pointers and dished out five assists despite the result for his squad to show off what he could do.
Moore led the Kinston High offensive attack with his ability to knock down shots on the perimeter and operate off the bounce. He showed his poise off the bounce with 21 points along with two made 3-pointers and three assists to show off his ability to make things happen. He’s an unsigned senior for DIIs in the region to get eyes on given what he can do.

Cobb is an intriguing combo guard at Kinston High with some athleticism in his wheelhouse to utilize for Kinston High. He showed off his ability to be a pest on defense and turn turnovers into quick points with some impressive finishes at the rim to finish with 14 points and three steals when it was all said and done. He’s a prospect that DIII/JUCO programs should key in on in the region.
