He had 19 points in this matchup and from the box scores I've seen, he's been at least good for 15+ points nightly. Roncalli ran some screens to manufacture some three-balls for Miller. Smooth and pretty stroke from three, that he has worked on, quite clearly. Can score off the dribble and get some air on his jump shots. Showed quick defensive hands for a steal and ability to finish high off the glass against contact. Can get creative in the lane to get up a layup or floater for two. The Junior needs to be on some college coaches' radars.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Darwin Gabler - 6'2 G 2025 - Aberdeen Roncalli -</strong> Gabler is an athletically-gifted athlete. He can get off the ground and had a major block early in the game. Great movement and length combination on display. Does a good job keeping the ball moving and he'll attack downhill off the drive to keep the offensive action flowing.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Caden Shelton - 6'2 G/F 2024 - Aberdeen Roncalli -</strong> Shelton has an athletic, lean, muscular build to him. Can sky high off the ground and uses that vertical advantage well. Finished well near the hoop to end with nine points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='963796' first='Maddox' last='May'] - 6'1 F 2023 - Aberdeen Roncalli -</strong> Maddox is a high-end football player that is built-up physically. He plays in the interior and his strength and jumping ability counteract his height in the paint. A strong rebounder and can clear out the paint.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Zane Backous</strong> <strong>- 5'11 G 2025 - Aberdeen Roncalli -</strong> It's hard not to appreciate Backous' energy that he brings. Solidly built frame and moves laterally at a high level. Runs the floor hard and quickly. Defensively, he will flat-out deny the ball and he'll box out every time. Has a quick and decisive drive to the hoop, in which he'll go in a straight line. Hit a three to close out the 1st half. 11 points for the Sophomore in this contest.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Aiden Fischer - 5'10 G 2025 - Aberdeen Roncalli -</strong> Possesses quick feet and it shows on the defensive side of the ball. Overall, Aiden plays fast and energetic on the court. Some skills with the ball and ability to hit the three. Hit a deep range three in the 3rd quarter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Leola/Frederick</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Brayden Sumption - 5'11 PG 2024 - Leola/Frederick -</strong> Sumption was a big part in Leola/Frederick storming back and making a run in the 2nd quarter. He was finishing layups in transition and getting to the hoop often.
