Here are 5 players who really stood out:

[player_tooltip player_id='1045694' first='Jayden' last='James'] (Senior, Guard, 6'5, Archbishop Molloy): Jayden was the clear leader for his team on the court and came through for them time and time again. At the high school level, there are not many players who can generate points in the half court offense but Jayden was capable. Equipped with deep range, a quick first step and versatile package of finishing moves, Jayden was instant offense. Jayden did not show his athletic talent quite as much on the defensive end but that was largely because he was playing within the zone system rather than trying to be a hero.

[player_tooltip player_id='1360122' first='Jahmire' last='Brewer'] (Senior, Forward, 6'7, Archbishop Molloy): Jahmire is one of only a few players in the New York circuit that can physically challenge the bigs at Christ the King. Jahmire plays with a high motor, finding a way to get into nearly every rebounding scrum. He uses his size to finish around the rim on the offensive end and disrupt shots near the basket on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220413' first='Devin' last='Vanterpool'] (Senior, Guard, 6'3): Devin plays the game with a high level of composure and is a clear leader amongst his peers. Devin is fearless attacking the basket and initiating contact with defenders. He has incredibly active hands on defense and is always hustling for deflections and loose balls. Devin plays the game with a ton of heart and has the talent to back it up. Devin showed flashes of shooting potential and could lead the team if given the chance.

[player_tooltip player_id='992509' first='Brandon' last='Williams'] (Senior, Forward, 6'9): Brandon was the biggest recruit in the game and played like it. For a player of his age and size, he demonstrated a complete package of skills: dribbling, shooting and playmaking. At this level, Brandon has the ability to physically overpower his opponent but he would rather find ways of scoring through finesse. Williams showed great stamina throughout the game, playing most of the game and having a lot of gas left in the tank for the 4th quarter.

Markell Alston (Sophomore, Guard, 6'1) Markell has everything that you want out of a guard. He is a pass first player, has great ball security, always dribbles with intention and he has an excellent jump shot. Markell does not lose confidence in himself, even after he has missed a few shots. Markell can take games over with his deep range and his passing talent. On defense, he always knows where to be and what rotations to make. Markell is just a sophomore but the sky is the limit for him.
