Check out all six new additions to the 2025 class ranking:

12 – [player_tooltip player_id='1772979' first='Zeek' last='Brown'], 6-foot guard, 2025, Free State:

Leaping all the way to the #12 spot is Brown, a newcomer to the Free State lineup. The Fire Birds were so senior laden a year ago that a big opening for leaders was open. The sophomore stepped and made an immediate splash with 26 points in his first game. He was Most Outstanding Player of the Hays Shootout and has been solid ever since. For the season, the versatile guard is averaging 15 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.

13 – [player_tooltip player_id='1772980' first='Jack' last='Perry'], 6-foot-2 guard, 2025, Galena:

Perry stepped in to a really good Galena lineup and made it better immediately. The Bulldogs needed another scoring threat to take some heat off returners, particularly big man [player_tooltip player_id='1080164' first='Tyler' last='Little']. Perry has a quick release and a dead eye from the perimeter. He has scored in high double-figures several times this year, and averaged 12 points per game in a recent tournament. Most important, the Bulldogs are 13-0 and ranked sixth in 3A.

17 – [player_tooltip player_id='1772982' first='Terrell' last='King'], 5-foot-8 guard, 2025, Hutchinson:

Hutchinson dropped to 5A and took off this season with several veteran talents on the roster. But the emergence of King at the point has been huge to their 13-0 start. He's quick with the ball and breaks down defenses with his speed and ability to get where he wants. He has good vision to get the ball to the Salthawks' shooters, and he can score himself. He was recently named all-tourney at the Dodge City Tournament of Champions. Hutchinson is now ranked #2 in 5A, in large part due to King's point guard play.

22 – [player_tooltip player_id='1772983' first='Breckin' last='McBride'], 5-foot-10 guard, 2025, Basehor-Linwood:

McBride got his feet wet in a handful of games as a freshman, preparing him to take a bigger role this season when the Bobcats had to replace a lot of graduates. The sophomore has an accurate jumper and can hit from deep. He handles the ball under pressure, can push it, and is really finding his teammates with the ball. He's averaging nearly 4 assists per game. The sophomore has had some nice scoring outings as well.

28 - [player_tooltip player_id='1772986' first='Braxton' last='Creed'], 5-foot-11 shooting guard, 2025, Halstead:

Halstead is playing a lot of young players trying to build the program. Creed is leading the movement. He averaged 10 points and 3 rebounds in a really strong freshman season. He's taken a big step forward as a sophomore, producing 17 points, 4 boards and 3 assists. He's hitting a nice 39% from behind the arc and a cool 80% from the free throw stripe.

30 – [player_tooltip player_id='1300813' first='Da'mykel' last='Hales'], 6-foot guard, 2025 Topeka High (pictured):

Topeka High is trying to rebuild, and a different player seems to step forward every night out. The most consistent Trojan has been Hales, who produced an impressively balanced and diverse stat line for the first half of the season. He's a slasher and a creative playmaker, moving the ball to teammates after getting into the paint, and scoring in a variety of ways. He can be disruptive and sneaky on the defensive end too.
