Ethan Leyba – La Junta
Leyba currently lands as the leader in made triples among 4A juniors. At roughly 5’7, Leyba has the ball on a string going either direction, proving capable creating scoring opportunities for teammates. On the year, the lead guard has posted 13.9 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. Leyba is certainly one of the more exciting pick and roll playmakers in the class, keep tabs on the guard.
Ryan Ewoniuk – Severance
Ewoniuk stays ready at all times for the jumper, playing off of the bulky frontcourt playmakers at Severance. The shooting guard is alert filling gaps on the perimeter and interior, constantly lurking for off-ball scoring opportunities. Through the season for 12-4 Severance, Ewoniuk has posted 8.7 points per game while knocking down 41% of triples.
Louis Pisano – Northridge
Although undersized, Pisano makes up for his size with an electric pace of play. Standing right around 5’6, the combo guard has helped Northridge’s overall number of interior drives. Through the season, Pisano has posted 12.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.2 steals while knocking down 40% of his three point atttempts.

Jacob has been a prolific shotmaker from the jump of the season. Standing right around 6′ tall, Jacob is a volume shotmaker from beyond the arc, either off the catch or from pull-ups. One area of improvement has been Jacob’s confidence getting downhill and scoring in tight windows. Given his gravity, Jacob has been beneficial creating driving lanes by his presence alone. Through his season with 10-6 Lutheran, Jacob has posted 21.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game.
Simon Alexander – DSST Byers
Alexander does his best staying aggressive wherever he is on the floor. Through his season with 8-5 Byers, Alexander has posted 14 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game on top of 38% efficiency on triples. At roughly 6’3, Alexander will be an intriguing athlete who has length to defend both backcourt positions.

Proving capable versus three positions, he is a guard that programs should keep an eye on.
