Hopkinsville has struggled as a team but Williams has started to make a name for himself as one of the best athletes in the 24 class. Antonio has had some huge rebounding games where he has pulled down 20+ boards. Long term, he has to develop his left hand and a more consistent jump shot to become a true wing but he may be the best athlete in the Junior class.
Doerr’s stock dipped after choosing to sit out 16u AAU last spring and summer but Christian has had a big Junior season after his transfer to Evangel and has been the MVP of nearly every event Evangel has played in. The 6’3 guard is a true three level scorer who will sit down and guard when needed. If he plays AAU this spring and summer, he should see offers come his way.
Erhardt is a high volume scorer and has a lightning quick release which makes him hard to block. Luke has to continue to attack the rim instead of settling for threes at times. As of today, he’s shot 50 more threes than twos and once he attacks the rim more, his threes will be more open. Luke is also a top free throw shooter and can boost his already impressive scoring numbers if he gets to the line more each game.
Coming off the White, Greer, Maggard tournament where he was named MVP and helped Lexington Catholic to the win, Doyle’s stock is on the rise. A big guard, Tyler is an efficient scorer who orchestrates the Catholic offense from the point guard spot. Quick with the ball in his hands, Tyler has a noticeable skill level and excels at getting into the paint. Look for him to draw scholarship offers in the spring and summer.
