Throughout the tournament, there was high level play from players and teams all over the community. This article will break down the best players from this year’s Metro Tournament with three teams consisting of two guard, two forwards and one center.
First Team All-Metro Tournament Team

Guard | Andrew Hill Andrew Hill 6'2" | CG Sandia | 2023 State NM (Sandia) | Led the Sandia Matadors to the Metro Championship Game. Led the team in scoring averaging 19.2 points per game throughout the tournament. |
Forward | Elijah Brody Elijah Brody 6'2" | SF West Mesa | 2024 State NM (West Mesa) | Averaged 19.5 points per game as the Mustangs leading scorer in the tournament. Helped West Mesa reach the Final Four in the Metro Tournament. |
Forward | Kenyon Aguino Kenyon Aguino 6'7" | PF Volcano Vista | 2025 State #257 Nation NM (Volcano Vista) | Averaged a double-double of 19.0 points per game and 10.2 rebounds per game throughout the tournament. Led Volcano Vista to their second straight Metro Title while being selected as the Championship Game MVP. |
Center | Sean Alter Sean Alter 6'9" | PF Volcano Vista | 2023 State NM (Volcano Vista) | Recorded two double-double during the tournament. Player of the game in first round matchup vs Albuquerque. Played huge role in the Hawks winning another Metro Title. |

He was top five in scoring in terms of points per game in the Metro Tournament. Scored the third most points (37) in a game in this years tournament vs Del Norte in the First Round. |

Guard | Latavious Morris Latavious Morris 5'8" | PG Atrisco Heritage | 2025 State NM (Atrisco Heritage) | Led Atrisco Heritage to a 3-1 record in the Metro Tournament. Led AHA in scoring in every game in the Metro Tournament. Scored 20+ in three of the four games and averaged 20.5 points per game. Was top five in points per game in the tournament. |
Forward | Jett Wyckoff Jett Wyckoff 6'3" | SF Hope Christian | 2023 State NM (Hope Christian) | Averaged 21.2 points per game and 8.7 rebounds per game during the Metro Tournament. Was fourth in scoring and recorded two double-doubles. Led team in scoring and rebounding. |
