Wilson brought his storm just last night and this one will last through March. The explosive guard made his season debut last night against Waterford Mott. It was like no time had passed as he cruised to a team high 17 points, playing at a high speed and scoring in a variety of ways.
Jack Agema
Jack Agema
I owe Agema an apology. Apparently I missed the boat with this young man. He’s playing some really good basketball so far this season. He’s been a consistent scorer, providing his team what they need on a given night. He’s 5-9, but tracks the ball off the rim and has provided a handful of rebounds every night.
Thompson has caused storms in every gym he’s been in so far. In fact, he just had a 25 point and 22 rebound double-double. The scary thing is, it sort of seems like the norm for him. Thompson has shown some nice touch with his mid range ball and has finished explosively with 2 hands at the rim.
Highlights
I’m pretty high on this young man’s upside as a player and prospect. I like the way that he bases his game off his defense and rebounding and has let the offense come to him. Don’t look now but Walker-Berry is stepping up on the offensive end, showing a storm brewing. In his last game, he dropped 30 points while adding 16 boards.
Kohlman has been causing storms in the winter for years now. Well, he’s doing it again this season. He just set school records for points scored in a game with 45 and 3 pointers made in a game with 9. This storm is anything but a blip in the radar. It’s one to monitor over the next few months. Kohlman is an underrated shooter, as he is probably one of the best in the state.
College coaches may want to take a serious look at Peters. His storm has been building at least since the Prep Hoops Michigan Top 250. I saw him in the first game of the season against Saline and was impressed. He’s continued his solid play, both scoring and distributing for Salem.
Adamczyk is like lake effect snow. You know it’s coming every time, but you just can’t fully prepare for it. He just scored his 1000 career point. Thing is, he doesn’t just score, he does it with style. Adamczyk isn’t just scoring this season, he’s playing winning basketball.
Zajac is taking this season by storm, by being a storm. He’s a legit scorer for Tecumseh that can throw a 20 spot up on any given night. Zajac is strong and physical with a game that I think can translate nicely to the next level. He’s been very strong on the glass this season as well.
