Prep Hoops Indiana will be providing boots on the ground coverage of Carmel @ Fishers and Decatur Central @ Greenfield-Central this evening.
Carmel @ Fishers
This Top 10 matchup is certainly the headliner of the Tuesday night slate of games around the state. Carmel, ranked #4 in the state by Prep Hoops Indiana, will travel to take on #10 Fishers in a battle between Sectional 8 foes. The Greyhounds are 3-1 led by an excellent start to the season for Belmont signee Sam Orme Sam Orme 6'9" | SF Carmel | 2023 State #196 Nation IN . Meanwhile, The 3-2 Tigers feature sophomore sensation Jalen Haralson Jalen Haralson 6'7" | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #8 Nation IN who has put up some massive numbers so far this year. This game will likely come down to which team gets better overall production from their “other” starts not named Orme or Haralson. Fishers won last season 44-39.
Decatur Central @ Greenfield-Central
This is an under-the-radar matchup featuring a lot of talent for both squads. Decatur Central enters with a 2-1 record while Greenfield-Central is 2-0 including a win over defending Class 3A state champion Beech Grove. Speaking of Beech Grove, Decatur Central features the best player from that Hornets team in 6’6″ forward Anthony Ball Anthony Ball 6'6" | PF Decatur Central | 2023 State IN . The senior has landed with the Hawks and is a double-double machine as one of the best rebounders in the state of Indiana. Junior guard K.C. Berry K.C. Berry 5'11" | PG Decatur Central | 2024 State IN , sophomore guard Eric Hopson Eric Hopson 6'0" | SG Decatur Central | 2025 IN , and senior center Steven Rogers Steven Rogers 6'8" | PF Decatur Central | 2023 IN are among the other talented pieces for the Hawks. Marian signee Dylan Moles Dylan Moles 6'3" | PG Greenfield-Central | 2023 State IN and sophomore Braylon Mullins Braylon Mullins 6'6" | SG Greenfield-Central | 2025 State #123 Nation IN makeup the Greenfield-Central backcourt which is as talented as anyones around the state. Should be an interesting matchup this evening.
Pike @ Perry Meridian
The Red Devils just got started last week but immediately showed that they are ready to compete. They come up short 59-55 against #2 ranked Ben Davis, but Pike proved they are not to be overlooked. Senior guard Devon Woods Devon Woods 5'10" | PG Pike | 2023 State IN , junior wing Camron Casky Camron Casky 6'4" Pike | 2024 IN , and senior forward Joseph Annan Joseph Annan 6'7" | PF Pike | 2023 State IN are the names to know for the Red Devils. Perry Meridian is 0-2 so far after an 8-14 record a year ago. However, any team coached by Mark James will stand a chance. Richard Dube Richard Dube 6'4" | SF Perry Meridian | 2023 State IN and Patrick Schott Patrick Schott 6'5" | PF Perry Meridian | 2023 State IN are two talented players for the Falcones.
