Continue ReadingWe knew that Bryce was going to be an impact player helping a team like Mountain View that is looking to improve from a rough season last year but he has been more than expected as he is playing at a high level. He is putting up 17 point per game and as a freshman playing at this level it is only going to increase his confidence and the time that he spends on the floor is going to give him valuable experience that he will need to attract the next level coaches. Keep an eye on Bryce over at Mountain View as he is quietly making some noise.
Brighton is another school that has struggled in the past and not a lot of people expect them to make a ton of noise but they do have some players that can hoop. John is a good young guard that plays both ends of the floor and he has been shooting the ball as he is playing well off the ball and shooting that three ball well. With a good defensive foundation and a player that stays within the offense John has a solid foundation so adding to his ability to shoot the three is a valuable skill he is showcasing.
Over at Riverton they have picked up some solid early season wins and we knew that they had a big guard out there but Stratton has been a great surprise as they are getting great play from multiple guards out there. Stat stuffing wise he is doing a little bit of everything and he is keeping the defense honest as he can shoot a little bit outside. Really like the consistent stats that he is putting up which is what players need to showcase themselves to teams looking to add players at the next level.
Every time this kid hits the court we fall more and more in love with his game. Tiger has been an essential PG at AF as we have seen a lot of teams struggling with true PG play. Some have scoring Pg’s that take too many shots and disrup the flow. Tiger is the opposite. He can score but he does not turn into a ball stopper he keeps that ball moving and he knows that the ball will find him again. He keeps his head up and makes the right play by getting it to his teammates. His movement off the ball is essential to the spacing that his team is looking for. He is getting taller and stronger and is not only a high IQ PG. Teams need to offer this kid now.
