Kamarr Bridges Kamarr Bridges SG Verona | 2025 State WI – 2025 – SG – Verona
Bridges came off the bench and provided a nice spark. With Verona battling foul trouble and one of their stars getting injured in the second half, Bridges really helped pick up the slack and kept that Verona offense humming. The 6-foot-2 guard had two steals that led to transition buckets. A bouncy, athletic sophomore with some handles, Bridges can break down a defense and looked really smooth off the bounce.
Chris Davis Jr. – 2025 – SG – Sun Prairie West
Davis finished with a team-high 15 points. It was a struggle most of the way for the Wolves, but they got going late. Much of the spark was provided from Davis, who caused some turnovers on the press and finished a couple of tough and-one’s off those takeaways. A big-bodied wing with some athleticism, Davis can finish with either hand at the rim and knows how to take a bump in mid-air. Needs to improve his outside shot, but when Davis gets a path to the rim, he’s very effective at putting his head down and getting to the cup and seems like to the physicality.
Finley Deischer Finley Deischer 6'0" | CG Verona | 2023 State WI – 2023 – G – Verona
Really would have liked to seen what Deischer did if he had his normal minutes. The senior guard came out from the opening tip and just controlled the entire game, scoring nine quick points along with three assists. However, an injury and foul trouble derailed his momentum quite a bit in the second half. Regardless, it was still a fine effort for Deischer against a strong SPW backcourt, finishing with 20 points and five dimes. Deischer scored or assisted on eight of the first 10 points for the Wildcats. After he knocked down a few triples, SPW tried to hound Deischer and take him out of a rhythm. Just never felt like it had much of an impact. Deischer handled the pressure mostly with ease and never got fazed. A good pickup for a small school program, Deischer also brings leadership to the floor. He puts his body on the line with charges and loose ball efforts, always encourages his teammates, and has a calming presence.
Kaden Kittleson Kaden Kittleson 6'2" | SG Verona | 2023 WI – 2023 – SF – Verona
Kittleson was pretty solid throughout the night. The senior forward got the Wildcats some easy buckets off nice cuts, steals, and just being in the right place to give teammates an easy target. A strong, built prospect, Kittleson was efficient at the rim and also mixed in a nice mid-range jumper. Verona isn’t an overly big team and they rely a lot on Kittleson’s post defense, rebounding, and tone setting on the inside.
Drew Murphy Drew Murphy 6'4" | SF Verona | 2025 State WI – 2025 – SF – Verona
Murphy finished with a game-high 26 points in Friday’s win. A high scorer that just lets the game come to him, Murphy is somewhat of a dying breed. You don’t see him taking a ton of dribbles or going out of his way too much to score. The 6-foot-6 combo forward takes what the defense gives him, utilizes the matchup across from him, and is also very dependent on the free throw line. Murphy is a very fundamentally prospect that can be used in a variety of ways. He’s got an inside-out skillset, plays in the pick n’ pop, and also moves the basketball — which is an underrated art. Murphy has a great sense of whether or not he’s got a look. If it’s not there, that ball is moving around the horn and it allows Verona to space the floor and get a lot of quality looks with his unselfishness. Even though Murphy is averaging around 24 points per game this season, you don’t see him trying to go into isolation and making his other four teammates stand and there and watch him.
