Sawyer Ramey Sawyer Ramey 5'10" | PG Deerfield Academy | 2024 State New E , 5’8 G – Fair Haven Union High School Class of 2023
A heady guard with great on court awareness, vision, crisp handles, and a nice stroke, Sawyer is a tough guard with a lot to offer. Ramey is a three-level scorer who creates his own looks, but naturally, defenses develop schemes to swarm him and take the ball out of his hands. Nonetheless, Ramey is a keen playmaker with his awareness and handling ability, which provide him the aptitude to evade traps and doubles with sneaky hesitations and eye fakes, giving himself just enough time to avoid the pressure and get a pass off to open shooters and forwards for clean looks. On the defensive end, Sawyer’s agility, active hands and high hoop IQ make him a pesky defender, sliding well to cut off driving lanes and sitting on crossovers to poke away, turning defense into offense. Ramey is a competitive two-way player and floor general who knows how to control the tempo of the game.
Alex Provost, 5’11 G, Champlain Valley Union High School Class of 2023
Alex is naturally a PG with his leadership but also harbors combo-guard instincts. Provost sets the tone on the defensive end, dictating how ballhandlers operate. Provost applies tough on ball pressure, forcing guys into corners and traps, ultimately taking the offense out of rhythm and causing faulty possessions. On the offensive end he’s an efficient scorer and playmaker, able to create looks for himself at all three levels in ball screens, isolation, and in the flow of the offense, yet doesn’t need to dominate the ball to be effective. Alex balances the floor well, cuts into space on defensive rotations, and hits shots at an efficient rate. Most importantly, Provost is an on-court coach. He sets the tempo, communicates often, and facilitates the offensive scheme. Alex makes those around him better and is a plug-and-play in most any system.
Noah Earl Noah Earl 6'2" | CG BFA-St. Albans | 2023 State New E , 6’2 G – BFA St. Albans High School Class of 2023
With great length, athleticism, and PG-like abilities with the ball in his hand, Noah is a highly dynamic player. Earl is a natural slasher, getting to the cup seamlessly by slipping by defenders’ hips with dribble combos or quick catch and drive moves, finishing at the rim. In addition, he has a nice pull-up in the short range but is just as apt to set teammates up with crisp passes in their shooting pocket as defenders rotate in to help. Of course, he’s also a perimeter shooting threat, especially off the catch, but doesn’t have to dominate the ball either. His off-ball movement includes wise relocation on drives, timely cuts and smart screens. Defensively, Noah can pick up 1-3 and can handle some 4’s too. Noah rebounds the ball at a high rate and is a coast-to-coast threat off the board. Overall, Earl is highly versatile as a playmaker, scorer, and on-court leader with his hustle and winning mentality.
Logan Vaughn, 6’5 F – Champlain Valley Union High School Class of 2023
In Logan we have a mobile 4 who can operate in a lot of different areas. Vaughn is most comfortable around the various post positions and short corner, utilizing both a savvy post and face-up game. He has drop steps and baby hooks on both sides of the rim that he finishes at a high clip. Logan also faces-up in the mid to short-range, taking guys off the dribble or jabbing to open up space and rise up into his jumper. Moreover, he’s also a clever passer, slipping in bounce passes to cutters or kicking out when the help over-rotates. On the defensive end, Vaughn can handle 3-5, switching well onto bigger perimeter guys and using his footwork to stick with them. A solid rim protector and post defender too, Logan body’s guys well and challenges shots with good length and solid verticality to secure rebounds. Vaughn is an efficient, swiss army knife type who can serve in myriad ways.
Tyler Revard, 6’7 F – Hazen High School Class of 2023
Revard is a whole lot to handle. Tyler is a stocky forward with unlimited drive, constantly on the prowl for boards and 50/50 balls. He’s a double-double threat nightly, using impressive touch and physicality to finish looks around the rim off of drop steps, baby hooks, and at times, sheer will. Moreover, Tyler has elite vision and passing ability, especially for a forward. He’s adept at facilitating from the high and low post as well as the short corner, reading defensive coverage on screens and cuts wisely to set teammates up for success with savvy bounce passes that lead them right into finishes. Defensively, Revard is dominant. Tyler is a rim protector first, walling up with his strong frame against post players and drivers, giving them nothing on the inside. He’s also a well-timed and opportune shot blocker, rarely overcommitting but swatting shots when they’re point blank. Revard is nonstop hustle.
