The class off 2024 features a ton of guys with those exact skills, here’s a look at the top combo guards in the class of 2024.
The lefty is a lethal scorer that can create for himself, as well as others. He’ll be a player to keep an eye out for this weekend at the Tark Classic, as he is getting interest from schools at several levels.
Highlights
Despite a setback, McCall is still one of the top combo’s in the class. Shoots it well coming off screens and has the ability to play with the ball in his hands. Let’s see how he returns, but has the physical, skills to be a sleeper scholarship athlete.
Dickel is a pass first combo for the Aggies. Good positional size, along with a unique ability to find teammates. Dickel is a player that helps facilitate the offense, keeps the ball moving and teammates sharing the ball.
Taylor is a good two way guard that has improved his offensive game. Taylor gets to the bucket to score, and has the ability to be a lockdown defender on the defensive end of the ball.
Sharpshooting guard that can handle it in a pinch. Coulter has a sweet stroke and the ability to change the scoreboard from behind the three point line. He can also be effective handling the ball against backcourt pressure.
The sniper from Mojave, plays with the ball in his hands as well. Williams is a good catch and shoot three point shooter, and harrasses ballhandlers in the Rattler’s Full Court Pressures.
Tempo Changing guard that is a key contributor for a small state contender. You can expect Gaeta to defend as well as get buckets in transition.

Tough combo guard that does dirty work. Hummell was off to a terrific start to the season, showing rebounding ability as well as shooting skill. The guard was 2-2 on three point attempts with a 7 rebound game before a setback.
