Cameron “CJ” Seifert is a big wing who has improved his scoring and become a vital piece for Eagle Ridge Academy this year. It is clear to see he has improved his confidence on the offensive end. He has also grown an inch now standing at 6’6 allowing him to shoot mid-range jumpers over top of shorter defenders. Using his large frame and long arms he is able to be a solid rebounder for a wing.
Noa Phillips Noa Phillips 6'2" Mountain View | 2023 CO – Mountain View
Noa Phillips Noa Phillips 6'2" Mountain View | 2023 CO will be one of the biggest stock boosters in his class in the next rankings as he has been putting together big scoring performances against some of the top teams up North. If I could only use one word to describe his game on the offensive end, it would be smooth. He is a respectable three-point shooter but does most of his damage off of the dribble in the mid-range or getting to the rim. Off of the dribble, he plays with great pace, knowing how and when to change speed to create a good look for himself.
Jacob Lovins – Frederick
Jacob Lovins is a lengthy athletic wing who makes impactful plays for his team. Jacob is not going to blow you away with huge scoring performances but will drop a loud 10 points for his team. He can make momentum-shifting plays at the rim. Jacob is good at finding sneaky cutting lanes to get open by the rim. He uses his athleticism to throw down dunks or finish through contact. He is also a solid mid-range scorer who can hit open shots if left open.
Kyle Blauch – Boulder
Kyle Blauch is a big stock booster as he is looking more athletic and has grown an inch since last season. Kyle is nearly averaging a double-double with just under 20 points per game and 9.8 rebounds per game. He uses his wide frame to bully opponents down low, he has been one of the best second-chance opportunity creators pulling down nearly half of his rebounds on the offensive end. He uses his frame and solid footwork to score in the post at a solid clip.
Matthew Angelo Matthew Angelo 6'3" | SG Mead | 2025 State CO – Mead
Matthew Angelo Matthew Angelo 6'3" | SG Mead | 2025 State CO is a new kid in town who has shown some solid potential. Matthew has seen good minutes for Mead as a sophomore due to his ability to shoot and make good reads on the offensive end. He is not a guard who has a ton of assists but he is good at drawing in the defense and making precise kick-outs to shooters. Matthew is an intriguing young prospect who has been a good role player for Mead and has the potential to step into a bigger role these next few years.
Van Nellessen Van Nellessen 6'8" | PF Monarch | 2024 State CO – Monarch
Van Nellessen Van Nellessen 6'8" | PF Monarch | 2024 State CO is a lengthy big man who has had an up-and-down season but has shown flashes of great potential. Standing at 6’8, he uses his long arms and good instincts to be an impactful rim protector. On the offensive end, he has shown the ability to step out and shoot three-pointers shooting an impressive 60% so far this season. It will be interesting to see how he develops as a prospect as he has plenty of potential.
Jayce King – Fort Collins
Jayce King after a summer of playing up where we did not get to see him go head-to-head against other guards in his class has proven that he is one of the better guards in his class. Jayce has looked very mature for a junior on the court, which could be accredited to the season of playing up against 17U competition. He is a player who takes his match-up personally on the defensive end, using his good instincts and intensity to be a good defender on the ball. On the offensive end, he has been a good scorer off the dribble in the mid-range and has been shooting efficiently from three-point land.
