Cassey Williams (Miller Career Academy): A 6’6″ 2023 forward who plays the game with a lot of bounce and a lot of activity. He is an explosive athlete who runs the court and has excellent shot blocking ability. He is also a very good offensive rebounder with a quick second jump. Through the first four games, he is averaging eight points, eight rebounds and nearly two blocks per game.
Stephen Okoro Stephen Okoro 6'9" | PF Principia | 2023 State MO (Principia): A 6’9″ 2023 power forward who came to Principia from Canada for his senior year. He is a relentless board man who loves to rebound, rebound and rebound some more. He brings a high motor to go along with his power game around the basket. So far, he is averaging 14 points and 14 rebounds a game to lead Principia to an early 4-0 start.
Josh Peters Josh Peters 6'3" | SG Nixa | 2024 State MO (Nixa): A 6’3″ 2024 guard who really emerged last week in helping the Eagles to the championship of the Willard Tournament. He scored 24 points and lit it up from 3-point range with five 3-pointers in the championship game victory against Bolivar. He’s an athletic kid who moves well without the ball and shoots the ball with a lot of confidence.
Michael Smith Jr. (Hogan Prep): A talented 6’2″ 2024 point guard with a long and lean frame and an impressive offensive package. He has the ability to break down defenders and slither his slender body into the lane for floaters or layups from different angles. He can also pull and knock down his high-arching 3-pointer. He was very impressive at the Savannah Tournament last week.
Tom Emerick (Mansfield): A 6’5″ 2023 forward from the SWMO area with a solid build and nice offensive skill set around the basket. He has excellent moves and good footwork and the ability to score with both hands inside. He can also step out and hit the elbow jumper and the Corner 3-pointer. He has good mobility and solid athleticism.
Samuel Hincapie (Gateway Legacy): A 6’6″ 2023 small forward who has a high motor and the ability to score at all three levels. He’s physically strong and he attacked the basket well with some tough takes in the paint. He is also a capable shooter from 3-point range. He is currently averaging 24 points a game to start the season, including a career-high 37-point effort.
Henry Neuenswander (Helias): A 6’0 2023 guard who has stepped up early to lead the Crusaders to a pair of wins and a berth in the championship game of the Arvest Classic. He is a solid ball handler who can really shoot it from downtown. He hit six triples in the first round against host Parkview, including the game winner at the buzzer.
