Practices have been going well for Mobridge-Pollock and their first game of the season is on Saturday at home against Sisseton. Thomas Knudson is the head coach of the Tigers. Coach Knudson has a passion for the game and he has a great basketball mind. The Tigers look like they will have a very nice team and they will be looking to make a run come tourney time. Let’s take a look at the Tigers!
“Our team has been establishing an increased awareness of improving in the areas of boxing out, zone offense, and physical conditioning. We have seven guys right now that are playing well. Jackson Eisemann Jackson Eisemann 5'10" | PG Mobridge-Pollock | 2025 State SD and Michael Wald are improving at shooting and off the ball movement. Both guards have demonstrated team leadership and the ability to defend and score quickly. Shane Henderson will develop into a major threat this season as he can shoot, drive and play above the rim. Coy Hinsz and Kobe Good Shield are making athletic plays and leading on offense and defense. Kobe and Coy have unique talents that will help us win games. Holden Eisemann and Simon Fried are both improving their driving and defensive skills. Holden has quarterback skills that carry over to the basketball court. He can manipulate the defense and find the open man. Fried has an offensive triple-threat ability in that he can get around anyone, hit a jumper and knock down a corner three. We are super excited to get our season started on Saturday at home vs Sisseton. Then we host Aberdeen Roncalli on Tuesday and then another home game with a local rivalry in Herreid-Selby on the 17th.”
