He went off for 20 points in the first half and finished with 30 for the game. It's great to see Christian stepping into that leadership role for Walnut Grove where they want the ball in his hands and can look to him for a bucket. He's beginning to show a lot people that he can be a volume scorer from all 3 levels, knocking down perimeter shots when given space or taking smaller defenders to the low post. His mid-range game is also solid and he hit on a number of turn-arounds and pull-ups. By the end of the season, I believe a lot of coaches and media will recognize [player_tooltip player_id='1565197' first='Deston' last='Christian'] as a D1 guy.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1076360"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"The Christ School came down to Marietta and found themselves in some battles with Walton and Lovett on back-to-back nights. They ended up winning by 2 in both games, [player_tooltip player_id='1076360' first='Bryson' last='Cokley'] a big reason why. In Tuesday's game against Lovett, Cokley carried them towards the end with 18 2nd half points and the go-ahead finish with 5 seconds left. Cokley can do it all from the perimeter and at 6'5, has everything you look for in a college guard. It was no surprise he's headed to Wake Forest in the future.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1131526"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1131526' first='Dylan' last='Faulkner'] didn't disappoint in the morning matchup against a Peachtree Ridge team that's playing well right now. Calhoun still came up a point short but Faulkner finished with a game-high 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Faulkner's length and athleticism have him constantly playing above the rim and he dunked on multiple defenders on Tuesday. He also showed the ability to finish over either shoulder in the post and that's where a lot of his points came from. Led by Faulkner, Calhoun could sneak up on a lot of people this year.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1300718"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1300718' first='Connor' last='Teasley'] is making a name for himself this year with Peachtree Ridge who has been on a roll lately. He provides them with another scoring threat and a spot-up shooter that compliments the rest of group nicely. On Tuesday, Teasley led Peachtree Ridge with 19 points but affected the game in more ways than just his scoring. He had some impressive assists and showed a lot of growth as a playmaker since I last saw him over the summer. His defense was also impactful, getting hands in the passing lanes and disrupting ball-handlers. [player_tooltip player_id='1300718' first='Connor' last='Teasley'] should have a bright future with Peachtree Ridge.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"JP Wells","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"6'2u0022","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"77244","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"Walton","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_4_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"JP Wells made a huge impact in Tuesday's game and guys like him are the reason why Walton wins games. Wells knocked down 4 three-pointers and finished with 16 points in a 63-51 win over Walnut Grove. Wells thrives in his role for Walton, providing energy on both ends and knocking down open shots from the perimeter. He loves to compete and that's obvious in the way he goes after loose balls and rebounds. The toughness of guys like JP Wells and Leo Etah have helped shape Walton's identity this year and they're guys that any coach would want on their side.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63a3732f41a23"} /-->
