Evan Morton Evan Morton 6'2" | CG Moravian Prep | 2024 State NC (2024) United Faith
Evan was the MVP of the third game at the Southeast Hoops Festival. Morton finished the game with 15 points, four steals, and two rebounds in a sixteen-point victory over the Jordan Falcons. An explosive guard that has above-average driving ability. When his jumpsuit is going, his slashing ability is even more elite. He can stay balanced in uncomfortable positions as well. If he continues to improve defensively he has the potential to be the lead guard for a good University.
Yohance Connor Yohance Connor 6'3" | CG 1 of 1 Academy | 2026 State NC (2026) 1of1
The lead freshman guard had a game against the host school Lions of West Charlotte. He totaled 21 points, eight rebounds, and a steal. The high-motor guard is one of the most impressive freshmen in the state has put on a show and has shown signs of progression in every game. Elite athleticism and a load of upside as well. He can score at all three levels and as his shooting gets even better, his ability to score at the rim will get even better as well.
Jack Hudson(2024) Corvian
Hudson came to play at the Festival, finishing with 18 points, three assists, three rebounds, and five steals in a win over Mount Island Charter. Continuing the Cardinals’ win streak in the one-game showcase. Hudson is a two-way player that has a smooth jump shot and above-average range. He is the vocal leader defensively for this team and his presence is felt on the court as soon as he steps on it.
Antonio Perkins Antonio Perkins 6'3" | SG Northside Christian Academy | 2023 State NC (2023) Northside Christian
The Knight was in one of the more competitive games from Saturday’s matchups, losing by one point 63-62. Antonio came to play, finishing the game with 21 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. His fourth twenty-point game of the season and he has shown a jump in his progression early into his senior season. An elite shooter, that can shoot well from beyond the arc and from the mid-range. He has a good feel with his back to the basket on smaller guards as well. Strong base and can be effective on the boards as well.
Michael Wilson jr.(2023) Metrolina Christian
Wilson leads his team to a victory over Harding High School 57-46, finishing with 22 points, 13 rebounds, and two steals. A 6’7″ shooting guard that shoots the ball at an elite level, one of the best shooters in the gym Saturday. With his unique size and ability when he elevates on his jumpsuit, he rarely sees his defender’s hands. College frame today and will be a day one contributor. If he becomes. a better defender he has a very high upside with his size and his ability to score at a high clip while rebounding at an elite level.
