Continue ReadingThroughout the tournament he showed the different ways he’s able to make a major impact on games while leading his team to the bracket championship. He showed his ability to score the ball at a high level from the perimeter in the early rounds but took more of a facilitator role in the later rounds. Not only was he named Tournament MVP, but he also has shown that he can play the PG on the next level and has made good strides as an overall leader for his team.
His performance that he put together in the championship game against NLCA was one of the most impressive performances that we have seen from any player this season. He scored the ball at a very high level from inside and out, plays the game at his own pace and understands how to use his size to his advantage. He finished with a game high of 31 Points and proved why he’s a player that colleges should be giving a call to sooner than later.
Highlights
Antrell Gilmore

A younger player that you will definitely want to keep an eye on for the future, he put up some big-time numbers despite his team dropping their first two games of the tournament. He’s averaging over 25 PPG, breaking down defenders to get to the basket but also scoring the ball from outside when the opportunity presents itself.
He flat out dominated every matchup that he was faced with, averaging over 29 Points per game while pulling down 16 Rebounds, helping his team to finish with a 2-1 record. Once he got the ball in the interior, he finished above the rim and a very high rate, and he didn’t allow too many interior buckets to be scored on him during the three-game span. The next step for him will be to add some post moves to his games, which we fully expect to happen as he transitions to the next level.

A prospect that has plenty of upside and that we feel will only get better as time goes on. He has a long wingspan, doesn’t get sped up too often and showed some ability to make plays on the perimeter.
Ryan Ford

He caught our attention in their second-round matchup with SVHS as he put together an overall productive day on both ends of the court. There is still a ways to go for him development wise but he has plenty of upside to go with some size, raw talent and athleticism that we saw flashes of during the tournament.
