#6. This young man has been busy with a move from North Carolina to Christ The King. He has committed to join Mike Anderson as the St.Johns program continues to grow back to the Big East power it once was. Brandon should help that rise. He plays above the rim. Throws down ferocious dunks off of half court sets, transition or putbacks. An outstanding rebounder. Very versatile scorer. He can knock down the perimeter jumper. But he even says that is an area he is working on. Which is good to hear from a young player these days.
5. Stepinac continues to have players in the top five of CHSAA. Danny is a scoring point guard. Has an excellent handle. Can get to the rim and deliver the dime or score it himself. Excellent drive and kick player. Has unlimited range. A tough fearless confident NYC point guard. Can run the team or take the game over . A winning player.
4. Terrific basketball body. Scores at all three levels. Tremendous finisher in transition. Makes plays off the dribble . Most teams converge on his drive but he is still able to get through and score or set up a teammate for an easy bucket. Gets into the paint and scores in many creative ways. Can hit the three ball off the catch.
3. Ian might be the best player in the CHSAA at attacking the basket. He has a long frame. Possesses a explosive first step. Uses his length and quickness to get to the rim. Tremendous in transition. Can knock down jumpers. The blue bloods have offered, Kentucky, Kansas, and UCLA plus many others.
2. Known as Boogie. A three level scorer. Outstanding shooter from deep. Unlimited range . Able to get off his own shot. Wonderful stroke. High skill set. Has an excellent handle. Terrific court vision and awareness. A scoring point guard who runs the offense and defends as well as he scores. Just to many offers to mention.
#1. Brandon comes in as our #1 guy in the highly competitive CHSAA. The future UCLA Bruin possesses guard like skills to go along with a power forward body. Very athletic. Can slice through defenders or manhandle them to the rim. Outstanding shooter. Defends and rebounds. Can start and finish the break. Has good lift on his pull up jumper. Extremely hard to guard player. Almost impossible to stop when he is attacking the rim.
