By the Numbers

He is putting up video game numbers. The way he is moving and getting to his spots you would think that his team is down 10 or 20 which is the motor you like to see . His play and skills translate to the next level. If you have seen him play club ball he can score against some solid defenders that are higher level as well. Keep an eye on this kid he could be a sleeper. If I was a D2 I would offer this kid. He has yet to scratch the surface on his development and if he can land at a D2 and have the time to develop at a 4-year he could really benefit from it. He runs the floor often times faster and ahead of guards, he contest shots and he could be a player that can switch 3-5 when taught proper technique. Really has a good feel for the game and he is just putting in that work and playing the right way which is allowing him to get quality looks at the basket. Nick is also that player that takes advantage of his opportunities at the free-throw-line. The 7'0 prospect has been doing his job, he is cleaning the glass on both ends of the floor. The one thing that you can see from this player is that he has plenty of room to grow. Reminds me of that big over at Utah State Doris who waited his turn and is having himself a great senior year and will likely play pro ball somewhere. In time AJ can really break the ceiling with what they are projecting on him. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
