Beach Ball Classic: 1st Round Games

Wilkins a rim-running forward plays active around the basket added 9 rebounds in the win. Leonard a combo guard can really explode to the cup while creating his own shot at any time on the court. Harris really likes to play his game behind the three-point line as a spot-up shooter. He connected on (3) three-pointers here today for the Cavaliers. Akins was able to switch directions to get by defenders while slashing to the basket. Jaquez sure didn't lack any confidence here today with his game. He finished with 19 points in the game. Akins is also a very promising pitcher in the spring on the baseball diamond. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1131531' first='Devon' last='Rainey']</strong> is off the board next season to the University of Buffalo to play football. Rainey finished with 13 points in the loss today. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>The Skill Factory (GA) 60 Central Pointe Christian (FL) 46 </em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Skill Factory had balanced scoring with <strong>Desmond White </strong>leading the way with 15 points. White a combo guard who hails from Jefferson City, MO will be playing at George Mason University next season. Desmond is a great communicator on the floor and really brings a strong defensive presence. University of Oklahoma signee <strong>Kaden Cooper</strong> finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds in the win. Wilkinson a left-handed guard finished with 13 points in the win for the TSF. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Central Point Christian fell to (20-9) after the loss today. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='820307' first='Gora' last='Niang']</strong> and <strong>Vuk Vukcevic</strong> both finished with 15 points apiece in the loss. Niang is in his second season at the Orlando based school. Gora has a tremendous MOTOR all over the floor. He does a good job of filling the lane in transition and has looked to extend his perimeter skills a bit this past season. Vuk does a good job of getting to his spots and moving well without the ball. He has a good frame and shoulders and the ability to score the ball from all 3 level at times.
