Jackson Yanda — SF — Bay Port
Playing for a solid Bay Port squad this season, Yanda has become a fun player to watch. The small forward can score well, defend at a high level, and overall is just a smart prospect. He certainly gets the job done on both ends of the court. If Bay Port wants to reach their goals this season, Yanda will need to be at his best.
Josh Manchester Josh Manchester 6'4" | PG Mount Horeb | 2026 State WI — PG — Mount Horeb
Entering this season, Manchester was a freshman to know. Now, the point guard has cemented himself as one of the best young players in Wisconsin. Even though the PG is young, he certainly is not inexperienced. Manchester plays with a high-IQ and always seems to make the right basketball play. Mount Horeb has a special prospect in Manchester. Look for the PG to dominate for years to come.
Derrick Johnson Derrick Johnson 6'3" | CG Dominican | 2024 State WI — SG — Dominican
I was certainly aware of Johnson heading into this season, but I didn’t know that he could make this big of an impact on the varsity level. The Dominican shooting guard is one of the best long-range shooters in the state. When left open, the SG doesn’t misfire often. His ability to knock down outside shots puts a lot of stress and pressure on opposing defenses. College programs need to keep a close eye on Johnson moving forward.
Austin Villarreal — SG — Arrowhead
Making the leap from scoring around 14 points per game to averaging 20 points per game is a major leap that should certainly be celebrated. I knew who Villarreal was prior to this season, but I didn’t know that he could be this good. Through several games this season, the Arrowhead SG has played incredible basketball.
Jaden Guyton Jaden Guyton 6'0" | PG Whitefish Bay | 2023 WI — PG — Whitefish Bay
You don’t see too many prospects burst onto the scene like Guyton has this season for Whitefish Bay. Last season, the point guard scored 11.3 points per game. Now, Guyton is averaging 24.3 points per game. I have really loved watching Guyton this season and I look forward to seeing how he completes this season.
Jack Lutz Jack Lutz 6'0" | SG Whitnall | 2025 State WI — PG — Whitnall
When it is all said and done, I wouldn’t be surprised if Lutz is near the top of Wisconsin’s 2025 class rankings. The Whitnall point guard has all of the necessary tools to become a really productive player at the high school level. He recently scored 25 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out 11 assists. Look out for Lutz this winter.
Henry Meyer Henry Meyer 6'3" | SG La Crosse Central | 2024 State WI — SG — La Crosse Central
La Crosse Central has put together an impressive roster. Nic Williams Nic Williams 6'1" | PG La Crosse Central | 2023 State WI and Bennett Fried Bennett Fried 6'6" | SF La Crosse Central | 2023 State WI headline Central’s talent. But Meyer is not a name to forget. The shooting guard has been able to do some impressive things this season. He is scoring 15.6 points per game. Truly a sleeper in Wisconsin’s 2024 class, expect the SG to get some college looks soon.
