Even with Max helping his team play at a such a high level they seem to be under-looked and undervalued. It seems like CCHS and even Max relish the opportunity to prove people wrong. Max is a bully of an off the ball guard but he can handle a bit and play the lead guard position. He is not flashy he just gets things done and he has had Hillcrest playing at a different level. Mason is a player that has turned defense into instant offense and he is alos one of the best posting guards in the state as he can really take advantage of smaller and not strong guards down in the mid-post.
