Elijah Crispin Elijah Crispin 5'10" | PG Pitman | 2025 State NJ | G | Pitman 2025
Coming from a basketball family with a lineage of scoring, the potential and knowledge base was there for Crispin to make an instant contribution to the Pitman program…. He showed up as a freshman for Pitman like his namesakes before him and delivered. A good ballhandler and a sharpshooter from deep who has a fantastic step back jumper and a lightning quick release on his shot. He’s a tough defender but offense is his forte and what will have college coaches taking notice from a very early stage. He hit West Deptford for 34, Salem for 31 and Triton for 25 as a freshman.
Carter Bobbitt Carter Bobbitt 6'4" | SF St James | 2024 State SC |6’2″ | G| Clearview 2024
Bobbitt went from a recess player who had never played much organized basketball to the star of Clearview High in just a few years. A local newspaper last winter featured how he used to prefer floor hockey. He picked up a basketball in middle school and it’s been full stream ahead. He’s a steady shooter from the perimeter and can also attack the basket as a bigger guard with his physicality. He’s a tough defender and isn’t afraid to hit the floor for loose balls and create turnovers. He had numerous games over 20 points, including a season high 29 vs Deptford. He had a number of games with 10+ boards as well. He’ll be a prospect to watch the next two years and is already near 600pts. Barring major injury, he’ll be a 1,000+ scorer.
Leo Impagliazzo Leo Impagliazzo 6'1" | CG Triton | 2024 State NJ | G | Triton 2024
While Triton had an up-and-down season, Impagliazzo made a name for himself last winter. A versatile lead guard and a facilitator in the backcourt who had over 100 assists and rebounds, getting it done in every aspect of the game. He also shouldered the scoring load towards the end in their 5 game winning streak to close the season out, including hitting for 21 against Cumberland and 17 vs Clearview earlier in the year. He’ll be expected to take on an even broader leadership role in a month’s time.
Junior Hans | 5’11” | G | Wildwood High 2024
Hans had an impressive sophomore year for Wildwood High. He made his name known as a scorer but he’s got tools to run an offense as well. He’s a tough on ball defender who has active hands, runs the floor at pace and can finish at the rim with both hands. He had 34 vs Pitman, 28 vs Ocean City and also 25 vs Woodstown. Hans should be one of the top players on the Cape this winter.
Devon Johnson Devon Johnson SG Overbrook | 2023 State NJ | 6’0″ | G | Overbrook
Johnson teamed up with the now departed Jaylan Hornsby to form a tremendous 1-2 punch for Overbrook last winter. Johnson is a solid ballhandler who can get in the paint, breaking down defenders off the dribble and uses crafty footwork and skill to finish around the rim. He can score from deep but is at his best when he can attack the basket. Johnson will crack 1,000 pts early in his senior season and will shoulder the load after Hornsby, a football star, transferred to Camden High. He had 29 vs Glassboro and 28 vs Clearview as top games last year.
