His quickness makes it difficult for defenders to stay in front of him as he has capability of getting to the basket. The 6-3 guard is coming off a junior season, where he averaged 10 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for Miami Norland. Parrish just recently committed to Presbyterian College in South Carolina.
Highlights
Cole is coming off a year where he helped lead Orlando Jones into the state semifinals. He is also known to be a three-level scorer whether it’s at the rim, mid-range or a threat from beyond the arc. Cole also brings a high basketball IQ, as he tends to be an underrated passer. Cole will look to lead a young backcourt for Orlando Jones this upcoming season.
Whitehurst plays with a lot of poise and unselfishness. He is also one of the most consistent bucket getters in the Panhandle. On the defensive side he tends to be very scrappy and has a lot of energy. Last season as a junior, Whitehurst averaged 13.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game for Pine Forest High School. Looking forward for an impact senior season for the 6-2 combo guard.
Reyes, a 6-4 combo guard plays with a high basketball IQ and loves to get his teammates involved often and early. He will look to play a bigger role this upcoming season for Barron Collier with the departures of Yvens Paul, Kai Watts and Anthony Cancellari due to graduation last year. Last season as a junior, Reyes averaged 6.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game for the Cougars as they reached the regional final. He has a dangerous outside game and underrated athleticism.
Highlights
Knaggs is one of the best scorers you will find in the Central Florida area and can be considered a “gym rat” according to his coaches. He is a hard worker and is always the last one to leave the gym. Last season, Knaggs averaged 14.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.3 steals per game for Auburndale. Not only is a hard worker on the basketball court, but he is currently maintaining a 3.7 grade point average in the classroom as well. He is the true definition of a winner. Impact senior season looming for Knaggs this year.
