NBA Stylistic Comparison: 2022 Pistons Cory Joseph
Justin’s best asset is his dribbling. An amiable camper, Justin shot much better in catch-and-shoot scenarios than following a dribble or two.
His lateral quickness, particularly on the defensive end must improve. As a guard defender, Justin will need to slide those feet incredibly fast to deter penetrators.
Guards will try to bully him, give him a bump, and JB’s best course of action is to simply beat them to their spot. Like all freshmen, he will benefit from commitment to the weight room.
Luke Robertson Luke Robertson 6'3" | SG Maryville | 2026 State TN | 6’3″ PG | Maryville | 2026

NBA Stylistic Comparison: 2022 Nuggets Spencer Dinwiddie
Mature, skilled basketball player. Luke narrowly missed the All-Star Game and looks likely to surpass a handful of players “ahead” of him in no time. Robertson’s smoothness dribbling, shooting, and dribbling into shooting stood out.
Luke’s Lane Agility time (11.93) startled. On its own the sub-12 second time ranked 11th, in the top third of the event. That ranking does not honor his time as it should be. Remember Luke is a high school freshman in an event largely composed of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. And he stands 6-foot-3. Typically players with that height are lacking in coordination for another year as they physically mature. Coordination is exactly what the drill measures.
Areas for improvement include: bulking up, finishing through contact, evolving into a vocal leader.
Though a freshman now, Luke is already quite refined on the offensive end.
