Yocom is probably going to be considered a combo guard with the way he creates, but the way he lets that thing fly lets you know the kind of player he really is; a knock down shooter. His consistency beyond the arc was incredible, if you gave him a step to set his feet and were not immediately in his face when he caught the ball it was going in. He is a special shooter who has the ability to catch fire at a moment’s notice, and has the confidence and skill to rise up over anyone across all three levels of the floor. He is already threatening that coveted fourth level of the defense with consistency, and is an elite shooter from NBA range already. His ability to play on or off the ball is a real weapon right now, allowing his older teammates a glimmer more of space to attack the basket, perfect for his slashing older guard. Yocom is already off to a fast start with his team, putting up big numbers in pre-season and the first week of private school games… Do not be surprised when this name POPS this year!
Fletcher Cravens Fletcher Cravens 5'10" | SG Plano West | 2025 TX 2025 5’10 Hebron High School
Fletcher is a special guard who can fill it up from anywhere on the court, calmly scoring off the bounce or the catch. He is a deadly shooter who loves to get his shots up, especially after shifting his defender out of his way on the perimeter. His release point is very consistent which allows him to replicate his shooting motion off the catch or bounce. I was very impressed with how well he scored from beyond the arc, moving without the ball and creating separation without even handling the ball. The threat of his three point shots was on full display and used it to create driving lanes for himself and his teammates. The defense knew they had to key on him in order to shut him down, which forced them to be a step late as a help side defender.
Gerald Mcafee 2025 5’11 Jack Yates High School
Gerald is an engaged defender every time he steps on the court, and the attention to detail he plays on this end of the court will easily translate to the next level, not to mention his effectiveness as a catch and shoot type player. His smooth and consistent shot mechanics from the outside play a big part in his game, allowing him to easily space the floor and make the defense pay for a late rotation. Mcafee does not need to be scoring the ball at a high level to affect the game however, he is aggressive and never gives up on plays in transition. He is the ideal 6th man who can come in and provide a spark with his play on both ends of the court. He worked hard on the defensive end of the floor every second he was out there. He is aggressive with a live dribble and consistently looks to attack the basket and finish at the rim.
Joseph Khalaf 2025 6’2 Klein Cain High School
Joseph is a high level shooter who thrives at spacing the floor and knocking down timely shots. He keeps the defense honest and allows his teammates more space to operate with the attention to detail they have to throw at Khalaf. He calmly moves without the ball, finding space on the back side and is always ready to catch and shoot from beyond the arc. His sharp shooting allows his big man to really dominate on the interior, and if they collapse he knows he has a knock down shooter ready and waiting on the back side. As he continues to develop his handle and aggressiveness with the ball in his hands, Khalaf could end up being a special guard prospect who can fill a role or get a bucket during a time of need.
Parker Overstreet 2025 6’0 Wylie East High School
Parker is an aggressive finisher at the rim who loves getting downhill and attacking the basket. His ability to consistently get two feet in the paint and then make things happen is a real weapon for himself. He has a good frame which allows him to absorb contact and finish at a high level. On the fast break he is a menace, constantly looking to push the tempo and ram the ball down the defense’s throat. I was very impressed by his incredible quickness and how well he was able to move up and down the floor, both with and without the ball! He has elite end to end speed, allowing him to wreak havoc on both ends of the court. His aggressiveness on the defensive end was solid, consistently getting underneath his opponent’s skin with his lateral foot speed.
