Opening Day Hype

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With tryouts starting today across the state many hope to find hidden gems or maybe some new talent that has moved into the boundary. Often times what we do see is some players have grown a lot and then that transforms them into different players. Either way we look forward to watching many teams compete this season and we take a look at a few Opening Day games to and players to watch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>4 Games to Watch</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Corner Canyon vs. Bingham</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This game will be played at Pleasant Grove High School in the Five for the Fight Tournament. This game features a very seasoned corner Canyon team against an unexperienced team in Bingham. CCHS will be lead by [player_tooltip player_id='934040' first='Max' last='Toombs'], [player_tooltip player_id='1056969' first='Brody' last='Kozlowski'] and [player_tooltip player_id='969631' first='Jaxson' last='Roberts']. They will try and solve the pesky Bingham defense that will be anchored by 6'10 [player_tooltip player_id='1116156' first='Brayden' last='Whitehead']. Brayden is an improving raw prospect that has a shot at playing at the next level. Keep and eye on KJ, Jenson, [player_tooltip player_id='1146657' first='Jason' last='Peterson'] and Stockton Tueller. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Fremont vs. Riverton</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Many might think that Riverton is just not going to compete with the bigger more popular teams but do not discount them. Jaxon Kereks is a solid prospect over at Riverton and he will be gunning with that ultimate green light. On the other side keep an eye on [player_tooltip player_id='1115931' first='Hunter' last='Hansen'], this kid can go. Should be a fun game and these two will likely guard each other as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Cyprus vs. Pleasant Grove</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is going to be the game of the night as both of these teams are real contenders in the chase for a 6A State Championship. Cyprus will have to killers in the backcourt in [player_tooltip player_id='934030' first='Quentin' last='Meza'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1057025' first='Diego' last='Mulford'].
