He is a player who can play any position on the floor. He can bring the ball up as a guard or post up down low. He is a solid athlete who gets his points through hard work. He can shoot the three and he rebounds well. He led the team in both scoring and rebounding last year as a junior and will be counted on for both again this season.
I like this kid’s athletic ability and potential. He is probably the best athlete on the team with good length for a guard. He was the starting point guard in the games I watched last season, although North Thurston has plenty of capable ball handling guards. He showed some solid ball skills as well as the ability to shoot off the dribble. He didn’t appear out of place as a freshman. He played well with a lot of confidence for a young player. I see the biggest upside of any player on this team with him. Look for big things in his sophomore season. He has all the tools to make some noise as one of the more talented young players in the south sound.

He has great size and strength down low and will be a big factor in the paint. He got a lot of buckets around the rim last season from using that sheer size and muscling his way to the hoop. He is a load on the block to say the least and will be a tough one to keep off the glass. He showed the ability to play with his back to the basket as a true post player.
He is another good athlete who can play either guard or forward. He is long and quick. He has the ability to be a great defender with his combination of quickness and length. He is good in the open floor, giving them another athletic player who can do a lot of things with his versatility. He averaged nearly 7 rebounds a game last season.
Highlights
Another backcourt player with decent size and athletic ability. He has a good feel for the game and can fill either guard position. He is also a good athlete who can get you rebounds, steals and blocks.
Highlights
He doesn’t have the size or length of the other perimeter players but makes up for it with good quickness. He was also the team leader in assists last season, dishing out 3. 5 per game. He can get by the defense with his quickness, finding open teammates and dropping it off for easy buckets.
Melo DelaCruz
Melo DelaCruz
The team’s third leading scorer from a year ago. He joins the list of returning backcourt players with experience. He was the leading three point shooter last season shooting 39%. He also showed some toughness getting into the lane and scoring. This is a team that returns virtually every player from last season. Things are looking up for the Rams.
