[player_tooltip player_id='1228214' first='Todd' last='Woods'] 2024 6'0 Fort Bend Elkins High School

Todd is the prototypical guard who can punish you from distance, score off the bounce, facilitate and be a pesky on ball defender. He is a reliable floor spacing option for his team, consistently knocking down shot opportunities when given them off the catch, and showing an ability to handle the ball and get to his spots from distance as well. His ability to shoot the ball and be a reliable floor spacing option allows his big man and athletic wing to attack the basket at will, knowing his defender cannot come off him to help. I was very impressed by his ability to get to his floater and shot in the paint as well, very consistent for an undersized and young guard. He has active hands on the defensive end that have a knack for causing steals and turnovers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1160648' first='Charlie' last='Georgelos'] 2024 6'1 Boerne – Champion High School

Charlie is a high level guard who can score at will from all three levels of the floor but effortlessly create opportunities for his teammates as well. He is a willing passer and has a true ability to create easy looks for his teammates. His passes are always exactly where they need to be, right in his teammate's shooting pockets or up high as they cut to the rim. In the pick and roll, he routinely found his big man slipping to the rim, or a teammate relocating to an open spot on the back side. Georgelos is not just a shot creating guard however, he displayed an ability to knock down open shots off the catch and attack the rim with a live dribble. He is patient at the rim, and waits to use his opponent's momentum against them. He is great at getting downhill after the threat of his jumper has become apparent. He also routinely found space in the mid-range and beyond the arc to get his shot off quickly over his defender.

Robert Garmon 2024 6'0 Lubbock Cooper High School

Robert is a quick guard who can get to his spots at will, relentlessly attacking his opponents with his handle, getting to the rim and scoring at will beyond the arc. He is a confident scorer across all three levels of the floor, and showed off a consistent jump shot from the perimeter. His confidence in his ability to score off the bounce was very impressive and it bled into his teammates as well. He is unselfish and always made the right reads in the full court to find teammates leading the play. He controlled the game like a point guard as he manipulated the game at will and used his shiftiness to get around his opponents.

Ja'varius Thompson 2024 6'2 Nimitz High School

Ja'varius is a point guard who is already prepared for the next level due to his feel for the game, aggressiveness and calm demeanor he plays the game with. He effortlessly knifes through the defense and is able to consistently get two feet in the lane and then fire out a pinpoint pass to his teammates. His overall basketball IQ is always on display, driving and creating opportunities for his team as soon as the help comes. I was very impressed with the amount of gravity and attention he draws when he has the basketball, and how good he was at finding the open teammate when he felt an extra defender. He is great at attacking downhill and putting his body on the line to put the other team into foul trouble and to get off shots at the rim. He is a great set shooter when he gets a chance to set his feet and play off the ball.
