Parris is a very crafty and shifty guard. He is able to control the pace of the game. He sees the floor well, and makes good reads on the defense. He can get his teammates involved and also shoot from the outside. Parris is a high basketball IQ player that just a good job playing his game and knowing his role.
Royce is a high level shooter, with good good length, that helps his shoot over the top of the defense. He has a quick shot release, and moves well with out the ball. He needs little time and space to get his shot off. He is also a good on ball defender, who does a good job beating the ball handlers to the spot, and cutting off the angles.
Coaches say white has a very high ceiling with his game. He is a three level scorer, that can handle the ball, get to the rim and shoot from the outside. He is athletic and still modeling out his frame. He can control the pace of the game, and has shown the ability to play at multiple speeds. He can play just as effective on the ball or off the ball. He has the skills to be a scorer or a facilitator. White is also a versatile defender and can guard multiple positions.
Andrew is a hustler and always doing what he can to help the team. Something’s he does may not show up in the stat sheet, like a rotation on defense, a good screen, making the extra pass, or a charge, but are very valuable to the team. Andrew is often in the right place at the right time on the floor. He understands the game well, and has a good feel for his game. He can shoot from the outside, and is a tough defender. I think Andrew could be a stock riser this coming season.
I saw Amari play at the Prep hoops showcase and I was impressed. He is able to score the ball in many ways. He has a variety of finishing moves at the rim, a very quick first step, and a soft shooting touch from the outside. He is very athletic, and he has a strong skill set to go along with it. He has a strong upside to his game and a lot of potential.
