2024 Rankings Update: Knockdown Shooters

Tevin does a good job of getting open without the ball in his hands moving with purpose, tightly navigating screens. He does a good job of making defenders close out hard and then attacking those closeouts to get to his mid-range jumper or a step back. Tevin is a bulky guard who does not get thrown off balance easily and has good footwork when getting his feet set for jumpers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1369782' first='Will' last='Perkins'] - Thomas Jefferson</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1369782' first='Will' last='Perkins'] is a crafty scorer who has made a name for himself as a three-point threat. Will is good at creating for himself off of the dribble using his smooth pull-up jump shot. He has very deep range allowing him to stretch the floor for his team as he can knock down shots off the catch. Will has improved his scoring abilities scoring at all three levels, using floaters to his advantage. Will is a shooter who can get hot in a hurry, watch for him to put up some good scoring performances at Thomas Jefferson this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1577954' first='Braydon' last='Jacob'] - Lutheran</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1577954' first='Braydon' last='Jacob'] is a three-point specialist with a knockdown consistent jumper. Braydon is a shooting guard who has very deep three-point range off of the catch. He is good at moving without the ball and finding open spots on the three-point line. Braydon is a sneaky cutter who has crafty scoring abilities around the rim. He has grown a bit and improved his athleticism allowing him to be a better finisher around the rim. Watch out for Braydon to be a big scorer this year at Lutheran.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1284588' first='Cohen' last='Edmondson'] - Lewis-Palmer</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1284588' first='Cohen' last='Edmondson'] is known for his shooting ability but is a complete prospect who can do a bit of everything. Cohen does a good job coming off of screens in a hurry and getting his feet set for shots. On the defensive end, Cohen is a physical defender who takes his match up personally. With Cohen being a good shooter he attacks strong closeouts to get downhill. He is a good scorer around the rim who can keep his composure through contact. Cohen was a big piece during Lewis-Palmer's state championship run and will look to lead them to another great season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
