No. 58 Jack Voth Jack Voth 6'6" | PF J.T. Hoggard | 2023 State NC – 6’5 Forward/Wing – Hoggard High
Voth recently joined the 2023 rankings this past summer after spending the past three seasons in Kansas City at Buhler High School. He’s a 6-foot-5 prospect that averaged 21.6 ppg and 9.9 rpg as the Kansas 4A Player of the Year as a junior in 2021-22, leading his squad to an 18-5 record. He’ll look to inject his ability to rebound and score in bunches as a paint presence and stretch forward in 2022-23 for Hoggard High. He holds an offer from Tusculum.
No. 63 Caleb Surgers Caleb Surgers 6'6" | PF Panther Creek | 2023 State NC – 6’6 Forward – Panther Creek High
Surgers is an emerging name to know with Panther Creek High given his recent development on the hardwood. He’s an athletic forward prospect that likes to play at the rim on both ends of the floor and also has the potential to operate in the high post area. He’s a late-blooming prospect that looks poised for a breakout season with the Catamounts.
No. 70 Jordan Pyke Jordan Pyke 6'7" | PF Shining Light Academy | 2023 State NC – 6’7 Forward – Shining Light Academy
Pyke is an intriguing forward prospect to keep track of at Shining Light Academy in Greensboro this season. He plays with a ton of energy with an ability to finish at the rim and meet opposing players at the rim on defense and as a rebounder. He’s a recent mover into the 2023 class that should gain some traction in the state with some colleges.
No. 75 Sam Walters Sam Walters 6'3" | CG Myers Park | 2023 State NC – 6’3 Guard – Myers Park High
Walters is a returning role player for the Myers Park Mustangs that should excel on the wing for his squad heading into his senior season. He spaces the floor with his knockdown ability and uses his length to play the passing lanes and be a presence defensively. He’s an X-factor type of player to keep eyes on with the Mustangs in 2022-23.
No. 85 Kaden Holdbrook Kaden Holdbrook 6'2" | CG Asheville School | 2023 State NC – 6’2 Guard – Asheville School
Holdbrook is an emerging guard to keep an eye on at Asheville School. He’s capable of operating off the bounce and finishes tough in traffic. He recently committed to He’ll be another name to watch in the Asheville School backcourt alongside Derin Saran Derin Saran 6'4" | PG Asheville School | 2023 State NC , another D1 point guard with their group.
