[player_tooltip player_id='1678029' first='Joe' last='Jack'] "Albuquerque Academy" Small Forward Class of 2023: [player_tooltip player_id='1678029' first='Joe' last='Jack'] and the Albuquerque Academy Chargers come into this tournament 1-0 to start the season after defeating Espanola Valley this past Tuesday in their season opener. The Chargers are more than likely the favorites to win this tournament and will be led by their star Small Forward who could make the case for tournament MVP.

Jordi Rojo "Belen" Point Guard Class of 2024: The Star Point Guard from Belen High School looks to help the Eagles bounce back from their season opener loss to Manzano on Monday night. What better way to do so than start off this season with a win during this In-Season Tournament in the First-Round vs Albuquerque Academy. The way he goes is the way the team goes, if he gets rolling don't be surprised to see the Eagles on top in this tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='1234592' first='Jonah' last='Lopez'] "Rio Grande" Small Forward Class of 2023: You can make the case that [player_tooltip player_id='1234592' first='Jonah' last='Lopez'] is the best player suiting up in this tournament. When a team has the best player in any tournament, they have a chance to compete with anybody. With improved talent around him, expect the Rio Grande Ravens to be a dark horse in this tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='1445839' first='Brian' last='Kalb'] "St.Pius X" Center Class of 2023: [player_tooltip player_id='1445839' first='Brian' last='Kalb'] is easily the top big man in this tournament and one of the top big's in the state overall. He is arguably the best player in this Invitational Tournament and if he plays like it, the Sartans can win this tournament. Brian will be an unstoppable force down low and is coming off a solid 17 point-game vs Sandia Prep.

[player_tooltip player_id='1295239' first='Jonathon' last='Lukesh'] "Rio Grande" Shooting Guard Class of 2024: [player_tooltip player_id='1295239' first='Jonathon' last='Lukesh'] with teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1234592' first='Jonah' last='Lopez'] will be one of the best duos that compete in this tournament. If he can continue to take pressure off [player_tooltip player_id='1234592' first='Jonah' last='Lopez'] and provide consistent scoring, expect the Ravens to make some noise in this tournament.
