Updated 2023 Rankings Forwards/Posts

Prep Hoops Missouri recently released its newly updated Class of 2023 rankings. He is a matchup problem with his perimeter shooting and ability to attack the rim along with his strong offensive rebounding. The Truman State commit averaged 16.7 points and 7.4 rebounds while shooting 36 percent from 3-point range as a junior.     <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/12/17BC158E-B895-4F5B-AD54-BDE3E3708849.jpeg"><img src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/12/17BC158E-B895-4F5B-AD54-BDE3E3708849-1024x768.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-1338763"/></a></figure>     [player_tooltip player_id='1161281' first='Cole' last='Griesemer'] (Hillcrest): A versatile 6'6" small forward who has been a standout since his freshman season. He is an excellent playmaker with the ball in his hands as he sees the court well and can drop the nice dime to an open teammate. He's a capable perimeter shooter who can attack the basket on the drive and score in the lane. He played with the ShoMe Assault during the summer grassroots season.       <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/08/984C12B1-74DF-4FE2-AA5A-BF8032BCAC63.jpeg"><img src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/08/984C12B1-74DF-4FE2-AA5A-BF8032BCAC63-1024x768.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-1269081"/></a></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1070110' first='Harrison' last='Doennig'] (Kickapoo): A 6'7" power forward who plays with a lot of energy and with a high motor. He is always working on the boards and he runs the court very well with his blue-collar style of play. As a junior, he averaged nine points and six rebounds a game while shooting 64 percent from the field for a conference championship team. The big lefty has a nice drop step move in the lane and he is a very good passer out of the double team. He also finishes well with jump hooks and power dunks inside. He averaged five points and four rebounds in helping the Trailblazers to a berth in the Class 4 state championship game. He plays the game with a nice blend of power and explosive athleticism around the basket. He is a also a tough rebounder who runs the court well in transition. He played with the COMO-TNT 17U team during the summer.     <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/05/700546FE-5712-41E3-8480-B87260D05D33.jpeg"><img src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/05/700546FE-5712-41E3-8480-B87260D05D33-1024x768.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-1468327"/></a></figure>     [player_tooltip player_id='1070095' first='Clayton' last='Ernst'] (Jackson): The 6'8" forward is one of the top bigs in the SEMO area. He uses his big body very well in the low post to establish his position and catch the ball with authority. He has a nice touch inside and he can also carve out his space for offensive rebounding. He had a strong summer season with the Gateway-Knights 17U squad.     <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/05/0E4F568A-323C-4D7C-B8D6-025A862EE35F.jpeg"><img src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/05/0E4F568A-323C-4D7C-B8D6-025A862EE35F-1024x768.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-1467445"/></a></figure>     [player_tooltip player_id='1164773' first='Quin' last='Blackburn'] (Pacific): The 6'8" forward is a skilled big who can score on a variety of moves around the basket. He has good footwork with a good combination and power and finesse in his game. He can also face the basket and hit the 15 footer and take his defender off the dribble. He averaged 13 points and 12 rebounds a game as a junior.     <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/09/118-Kanyon-Hummel-scaled.jpg"><img src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/09/118-Kanyon-Hummel-1024x685.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-1604825"/></a></figure>     [player_tooltip player_id='1167326' first='Kanyon' last='Hummel'] (Rock Bridge): The 6'9" forward is one of the top bigs in the Mid-Missouri area. He has made big improvements each season over the course of his career. He's very active inside as a scorer and rebounder. He also runs the court well and he can step out and hit the mid-range jumper off the catch. On the basketball court, he is a physical combo forward who can power his way to the basket on the dribble and score in the low post. He is a double-double threat every time he steps on the floor. He played with the COMO-TNT 17U team during the summer.
